I am writing to formally express my concern regarding an extremely uncomfortable and disappointing experience I had at Bobby Ray’s on New Year’s Eve.
My intention that evening was simply to bring in the new year peacefully and enjoy the atmosphere of your establishment, but unfortunately, the service I received fell far below any reasonable expectation.
From the moment we arrived, the initial interaction with the bartender was unpleasant. Her demeanor was hostile from the start, and her attitude made us feel as though we were an inconvenience simply for being there. When it came time to pay, she asked if I intended to tip. After I politely said no, she proceeded to toss the receipt and then throw the change toward me. This behavior felt aggressive, disrespectful, and completely uncalled for.
Feeling uncomfortable, I asked to speak with the manager. The bartender then stated that she herself was the manager. If this is how management conducts themselves, that is deeply concerning. The interaction was hostile, unprofessional, and made me feel genuinely uncomfortable-something I have never experienced in a bar setting before. I want to be very clear that this was not just poor service, it was an experience that left me feeling disrespected and uneasy. I have never been treated this way in any establishment, and it was disappointing to encounter such behavior, especially on a night meant to be celebratory.
I felt it was important to bring this to your attention because this type of conduct reflects directly on management and the establishment as a whole. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, as no customer should ever feel the way I did that night.

We’ve been coming here for years. Always great food and great service. Virginia was our bartender tonight and was fantastic. Drinks were perfect and she couldn’t have been nicer – even put the Flyers game on for us.

Bartenders issues I ordered a bud lite set price $3.50 girl grabs a $20 bill and returns $15.00 she did this many of times and it was a very slow day no more than 6 people at the bar. Keep in mind I deal with customers every day for the pass 40 years been a waiter for 10 years and I know how it is being a bartender. Sad thing I live very close to this place. I was a regular till this started to happen. If the owner is asking the why business is so slow this maybe one of the reasons. It’s a very convenient location. But I started go to Bryson’s Pub.

Soon as we walked in, the energy was off. The bartender, who I now know her name was Virginia, claimed she was the manager & had a nasty attitude from jump. She was very rude, throwing our items on the counter like she was irritated we were even there. Her demeanor was so bad she claimed they were out of napkins & when it was time to pay, she asked if we wanted to tip, then tossed the receipt at us when we said NO! The whole interaction was disrespectful and uncomfortable. If this is how management acts, that’s a problem. Definitely won’t be back.

Customer Service was terrible never experienced this ever in my life, it was disgusting how me and my party felt like we were nothing . I do not recommend this place to anybody, one of the people in my party was told there weren’t any napkins so she can wipe up spilled liquor , but we seen the napkins, that’s first. Secondly, why would someone expect a tip if their attitude is nasty, and we felt unwanted in the bar. The receipt and change could have been placed in my hand instead of thrown towards me. This is not a place of business I would like to attend too or spend another A New Year’s Eve ever again. I do recommend 45th Pub which is directly around the corner.

Service was good, they have a parking lot, plenty of board games, shuffle board, juke box,good food menu, plenty IPA choices drink specials 1/2 price food specials too!
Spacious comfortable enclosed shed outside decks if you want to smoke.
No matter how busy they will bring your food to the table .

The burgers were good, but the atmosphere is miserable. The bartender seems miserable bartender told us the soda gun wasn’t working then later on in the night was using the soda gun and didn’t inform our party. I was told there was no Pbr available My buddy tried to order a yeungling but there was no yeungling available because they haven’t put in their beer order and then when we come the next week still no PBR still no Yeungling. My chaser was poured in a plastic condiment container.
The new staff is miserable and not friendly They’re not very attentive it seems. This bar is really going down the drain. The old staff (skylar shayna callie) actually paid attention to guest and what they ordered.
Big shout out to the chef though Might have to start pregaming before coming to get my food.

The food was amazing and the prices were very reasonable! I got a massivd burger meal and a delicious vodka cocktail for $20.87. Service was good and friendly, only super minor thing was that I wasn’t sure if it was self seat or wait to be seated so I stood around awkwardly in the entrance for a few minutes before the bartender decided to ask if I needed help. But that’s more on me than anything else. The restaurant itself had a nice atmosphere and vibe too, until I went into the restroom. It felt like I went into a gas station restroom. Graffiti everywhere, uncleaned, a unirnal and one of the sinks was broken, the soap dispenser had been torn off the wall, and half the lights were out. It’s a shame because I was having an extremely positive experience up to that point, but since I went into the restroom to wash up *after* my meal, it was a real sour way to finish the trip.
My overall verdict: Amazing food and service, definitely recommend going here! Just uh, hold your bladder until you get home and maybe bring some wet wipes to clean your hands and face afterwards instead of using the restroom

I’ve gotta say I’m VERY disappointed with this place. Dirty atmosphere as soon as you walk in, obvious underage drinking!! And not to mention the multiple couples taking “trips” to the bathroom. DO BETTER !
