Camilla was our waitress and hostess and everything. She was so sweet even if we came in at 9:15pm and they close at 10pm and they allowed us to still order any food. Thank you to the chef for that! This place is right across the street from yet…another lake! Lake Zurich is full of homes and restaurants that have a lake right across the street so it’s beautiful and promotes taking nice walks before and after dinner let’s say. Food was fun and good but the shrimp was a bit salty and the fish and chips were good with crispy light batter. Free and open parking.

Bobbers is a Great place with a Great view.
Food was fantastic and portion sizes were above average. Fish and Chips were perfectly done. Calamari was awesome! Almost to much for one person. Beautiful outdoor seating area with a view of the lake. The entire staff was extremely friendly and nothing but smiles! My moto is “Never Settle For Less”! and Bobbers did not disappoint! It was a wonderful experience and I will definitely be back!
FYI parking is kinda tight and they are always busy.

Loved this place! I got the grilled chicken sandwich with tater tots, tots were crispy 8/10 sandwich was good 8/10, waitresses were very nice and attentive! a lot of space outside to eat view is amazing you can see the lake! nice and cool inside too definitely coming back to try other things on their menu! parking is ok they have street parking if theres no room because it is a bit small parking lot but over all 9/10! Great job guys

This a great little sports bar located right across the street from Lake Zurich. If the weather is good opt for the outdoor seating and great views of the lake as well as the big screens indoors. Greeted immediately once we came in and quickly escorted to an outside table. Service was attentive by Kyrestyn but not intrusive. We ordered the pretzels with beer cheese for an appetizer, it came right after our actual food arrived (tip: they bake these fresh so put that order in with your drinks because it takes a bit for them to bake which we did not do so that was on us). Well worth the wait though. Almost large enough to call loaves, these “sticks” are good sized with a nice dark brown outside and soft bread on the inside. The beer cheese is a definite plus as well. They have a small but decent beer selection; I had the Bobber’s Brew which was quite tasty. For entrée I ordered the Jack Daniels burger with Swiss and a fried egg on it. Bread was super soft, and the burger was excellent. I would say cook the fried egg a little more over easy to get the yolk involved but still a great burger. The fries were fresh cut potatoes and were delicious. My friend had the chicken wrap and said it was also very good. Healthy people, right? SO, what I am telling you is to go here and not only enjoy the great views and service but get a delicious meal to go with it. For sure place to visit!

The atmosphere was amazing. We picked a beautiful day to hang out by the lake. When you come to Barbara’s, you must fine the Jack Daniels burger tater tots and fish and chips. Ask for the fries well done The best!!

I wish I knew our waitress name. We were there Saturday night. Very large and loud group. Owner and server took great care of us. Our party got even bigger when the bride, groom, and family came to meet us just before close. They were nice enough to keep the kitchen open for them and continue service Even thought they were all ready to go home. Food was great and sitting by the window to catch a breeze was amazing. Thankyou for taking care of an entire wedding party on zero notice because we did not have a reso!

We visited Bobbers on a Sunday for lunch and it was very good. It sits across the street from the lake and has a nice patio with umbrella covered tables and provides a great view of the lake where we could see fisherman, boaters, skiers and tubers. They have a full bar, offered good sounding signature cocktails and numerous beers both on tap and can/bottle. I chose a tasty Crystal Lake Brewing Fox Rocker red ale ($8.00 pint). We selected a Buffalo Cauliflower appetizer ($11.95) and it was perfect. In just a few minutes we were served a very large portion of lightly breaded, fried cauliflower florets that were tossed with Frank’s buffalo sauce – not real hot. Ranch dressing came with the order. 3 people could easily share this. For entrees, my wife selected the Greek Chicken Pita ($15.95). She loved it. Greek seasoned chicken with onions and tomato, served on a warm pita with tasty tzatziki sauce and fresh lemon wedges. She also selected a side salad which is in the available included sides. I had the Baja Burger ($16.95). One half pound Angus beef burger, hand formed, with pepperjack cheese, sliced avocado and fresh pico de gallo on a sturdy bun along with sliced red onion, lettuce and tomato. Very good beef flavor in a substantial sandwich. I also chose a side salad. The salads were fresh, cold and crisp. We recommend this place for comfortable dining with a lake view.

It’s a nice place to sit on the patio. This place is not right on the water but has water views. Drinks menu has some cool one of a kind selections, but food menu is not that special. Friendly staff. They don’t require a mask to enter inside which I found odd. Staff wears masks but customers are not required to.

Came here with my husband and kids tonight because we wanted a restaurant where we could eat outside & enjoy a view. Right away we were welcome by a really sweet group of girls who let us pick where to sit outside. Service was fast, our waitress was so sweet and she checked in on us often. Writing this review because our server saw my son drop his very last chicken tender on the ground which, naturally, brought him to tears. He recovered quickly but a few minutes later, without even asking, our server showed up with a freshly cooked chicken tender for my son. He was overjoyed. With that kind of compassion and service, we will definitely be back. 10/10 service from everyone we encountered. Thank you!
