The meal was good. We are appetizers only but their chicken wings are good and there are a lot of them. We also had fried ravioli and conch fritters. We shared with friends so it was a whole meal. They did forget one person’s soup and accidentally charged for an extra drink but the staff promptly removed it so it was correct.

The restaurant had a strong musty smell when we walked in. Service was inattentive and frustrating—we had to ask three times for napkins while eating peel-n-eat shrimp, and never got them. My husband ended up walking into the kitchen to get some.
The food was disappointing. Dry fish, overcooked shrimp (despite waiting 30 minutes), and a potato salad full of oversized celery chunks. We also ran out of drinks and were never offered a refill until the check arrived—then we were asked if we wanted tea to go. ~ No, we wanted tea with the meal.
Overall, it was a poor dining experience. We do not recommend.

Wanting to NOT l with parking and traffic in Key West proper, we opted to take the highway out of Key West in search of a place to eat. We found this nice little place with just the right character for the trip.
“Beware of crocodiles” sign made us have a second thought. But, we ventured in.
Music outside was loud – we stayed inside – The food took a while to get served the kitchen had a big party ahead of us – But, it was well worth the wait. Service was excellent. We did enjoy the Key Lime pie for desert.
Would highly recommend this restaurant as a fun place, with lots of character, and excellent food.

What a pleasure to have found this little southern eatery! It’s rare to find fried green tomatoes done well..but bobalu’s hit it out of the park! And the prime Rib and fried chicken is not to be missed! Came back here 2 weeks in a row it was all so good!

The kids sides were also very good with chicken strips and shrimp! Our 9-year-old rated the shrimp a 10/10!

We’ve passed this place many times before but finally decided to stop! Best pizza we’ve had in years! Cozy little place with friendly service and great food. My wife and I split a New York Original pizza and loved it! Don’t let the pictures fool you – the center is loaded with pepperoni, it’s just covered with cheese! We are looking forward to returning for a turkey potpie! Thank you Katy for the great service!

The waitress was very sweet Ashlynn. She was running like crazy. The food took so long to get to us. Almost an hour. And then my husband’s lunch The Kaiser roll was burnt. Can’t believe it was brought out like that. This was our first run and will be our last.

Service made up for the wait time. I would ki11 for another Grouper Ruben sandwich. The seafood platters scallops were melting in my mouth. House made tartar paired well with the Mahi fillet. French Fries could have been better.
