What makes this place unique is the Viet coffee drinks. You can add an extra shot to really give your drink a kick. Great quality . However, I docked it one star because manager not really looking out for the employees and some skimping behaviors on the menu.
Egg coffee 5/5
Sounds weird but it’s actually pretty good. There’s no real egg taste but it’s very creamy topping and it works well with a strong coffee base.
Salt coffee 5/5
Salt coffee is a creamy white top layer slightly salty as an interesting contrast to the sweet coffee. I normally add an extra shot and go for 75% sweetness.
Interior 5/5 – Well designed , modern bright and comforting. Plenty of tables combined with individual chairs and bench seating. Labubus make it fun.
Soundtrack 4/5: Energetic dance music pumping in the background.Good vibes.
The bad 1/5
1. Tip goes to manager .
You will get asked for a tip at the end of the kiosk order and I found out later from an employee that the tip goes directly to the manager and they don’t receive it. Not cool. You’re better off giving cash directly to the server if you want to tip.
Update Nov 3, 2025. Asked the clerk at front desk again to see if the tip goes to the employees. The response was no. Only cash is best if you want to tip! Still kinda sus for the management!
2. No ice option = $0.50
Ever since Starbucks did this kind of sneaky trick by loading up your drink with ice people have been ordering drinks with no ice. This doesn’t work at this location. You’re going to get charged extra .

The creme brule latte boba was delicious. I’m sure all the drinks are wonderful. Nice cozy chairs and tables. Good place for meeting up with a friend, journaling, etc.

Their portions are significantly larger than those of other competitors. I especially love their fruit smoothies—they taste incredible. They’ve recently expanded and remodeled into a beautiful lounge. There are two ordering stations for added convenience. They also have another location in North San Jose, and both places offer the same great taste! Parking isn’t too bad, but it can be tricky to find a spot close to the entrance.

Came across this place at a strip mall and it did not disappoint. Boba very very good. We had the matcha dubai chocolate and Taro ube latte. Very nice place and big space to sit and chat with friends. People were nice and friendly.

Drinks average to about $7 each because each drink usually comes in 24 oz size but have good flavor overall. Double matcha latte and mango smoothie are goated. Ordering online was convenient – I had my drinks ready within 15 minutes.
Double matcha latte (75% sweet): super strong grassy matcha flavor and was not overly sweet. This is how I imagine a matcha drink trashing like.
Mango smoothie: extremely refreshing and cooling mango drink for after gym sessions to cool you down.

I’ve been coming to this place for a long time since I live nearby. The staff is usually friendly and helpful, and I’ve always enjoyed the coffee and the relaxed vibe.
However, an incident today made me feel disappointed. I ordered a Vietnamese coffee and asked for a little less ice than usual. The regular portion of ice for that drink is quite a lot, and I don’t like my coffee to be too cold, so I usually ask for just a slight reduction, not to remove it completely. In the past, other staff members have always been understanding about it.
This time, the staff member I spoke to immediately said they don’t adjust ice. I tried to explain, but she just shook her head and walked away. It came across as dismissive and unnecessary.
It’s a small detail, but small interactions shape how customers feel. I’ve liked this cafe for a long time, and I hope the team keeps up the respectful service it’s known for.

Not my cup of boba. Coffee lacking flavor and taro smoothie tastes like it come from powder form. Sorry won’t be spending my money here again nor can I recommend to anyone.

I Have been coming to this Bobaholics for quite sometime now. Love this Location because it definitely close to me. The Milk Teas, Fruit Teas and the Smoothies here are definitely Delightful!
They also offers some Great Snacks here as well. I have tried the combo Snacks which came with popcorn Chicken, Calamari, and Fish balls. For this Combination you can pick three different kinds. I Normally order Their large boba drink because I really like the Portion Size. I have became a regular here and enjoyed Chatting with Chris who always very helpful and welcoming. Recently they have upgraded their full menu options which includes the cheese foam, Crème Brûlée, and the Macha series which is my favorite.

Cute lil’ boba shop that offers a fairly large drink and snack menu. They have one of my favorite kinds of milk teas- hokkaido!! Like most places, you can adjust the sweetness & add toppings.
This is a nice spot to come to if you’re in the area looking for a quiet spot. There is a small couch with a couple of round tables and a small table for 2. Short 10 min walk from from Independence High School.
