This was a date night with friends and we did family style ordering: Mix Cow Salad, Cumin Lamb, Sauteed String Bean, Jing Dong Meat Pie, and Mushu Pork. The food was a little different than what you’d find in typical Chinese restaurants. I read that it is more northern Chinese food. But, all the food was really good. It’s not a huge place, so it feels a bit cozy inside.

It’s very good in many ways, and pretty bad in other ways. Guobaorou is the best I had near DFW, but that’s simply because there’s no good Guobaorou in DFW. Crispy, sour and sweet balanced, though pork is too thin for me. Yuxiangrousi is way too sweet. Did the cook break the sugar bottle? Besides that it’s a good dish with all ingredients cut into similar thin pieces, and portion size is large. Jingdongroubin is my favorite. Very juicy meat inside, with very nice wheat smell outside. ‘Texas’ pulled chicken is also delicious. The chicken meat quality is high. It won’t fall into pieces easily but is still chewy. It’s hard to find such quality. The flavor is deep into chicken bones. However, as others may mention and the restaurant refuses to improve, the wait time is far too long. There’s no other customers when we go there, but still waited more than half an hour before our first dish. With that being said, I still want to try again!

The food is not bad. Restuarant is clean and is a cute little business. Really eye opener, would never expect a place with a bubble tea name, would be a full restaurant. It is the first restaurant I have ever found selling braised lion head meatballs with the same texture and flavor as shanghai. Which I gave up a long time ago in that search. But going to this restaurant I am glad I took a whim try it out. Also like they sell the bubble tea smoothie drink had when younger. Taste exactly right.

Best northern style Chinese cuisine in DFW area for sure! Worth driving 50min. Service is definitely limited but they tried, had to wait long time for the food but it’s posted on their menu and entrance to let you know ahead. Will definitely come back.

The food was delicious. As a Chinese, the food here is Chinese food. The noodles are most likely homemade. I forgot to ask. I had it before , the pickle was home made so I ordered Lamb soup with pickle. The Chinese buns are so chewy and tasty. And they are huge. The servers were very friendly and they helped me to make choice.

The BEST restaurant featuring northern Chinese cuisines in the DFW! I would give 10 stars if I could. The portions are huge and the food is delicious. The price is extremely reasonable and you can feel the chef loves what he does and he knows what he’s doing. All of the dishes are delicious. I also find the signs of “Do not rush us” anywhere very cute. It looks like a family owned business so it’s understandable they could be stressed if people rush them in busy hours.

Definitely will come back.

I’ve been to this location many times before, never got much just accompanied friends. Now that I work directly next to the restaurant I decided to see what brings so many customers in.
I got the Beef Chow Mein, and it was hands down delicious. I’ve tried many places in Texas (I’m from WA) and I can say for a fact this is the best authentic Asian restaurant around. The one time I went in and they didn’t have Tapioca the young lady was kind enough to suggest Chia seeds in my Tai Tea -little does she know she put me onto something I can’t help but make it my everyday craving hahaha. I now have made myself a regular and am happy for it.

p.s the wait time may be an issue for some but once you get your meal you realize true authentic cuisine takes time if ya want it right! So please respect the employees and remain patient.

Authentic northern Chinese food and lovely chef family. The quantity is huge. Their handmade noodles, meat pancakes, string beans, Guo Bao Rou and other dishes are all wonderful. I love sweat and sour fish. If you seek authentic Chinese food, this place is a great place.

I recently visited this Chinese restaurant, and I was impressed by their cuisine. Firstly, their dishes are very authentic, with a genuine taste that reminds me of home-cooked meals. Whether it’s the spicy hot pot or the braised pork, each dish leaves a lasting impression.

In addition to the delicious food, their prices are also very affordable. Here, you can enjoy authentic Chinese cuisine without worrying about breaking the bank. What’s more, the portion sizes are generous enough to satisfy a hearty appetite.

Overall, I am very satisfied with my experience at this Chinese restaurant. Whether it’s the quality, price, or portion size, they excel in all aspects. I highly recommend this restaurant to all lovers of Chinese food; you won’t be disappointed!

I hope this translated review meets your needs!

The food is pretty good. I love the walnut shrimp best!!!

But I would never come back. The atmosphere and service is awful. The service is pretty slow cos they short of personnel. There were even two kids working there, a 14-15 year old boy and a 9-10 year old girl . The manger was so harsh to them. She yelled at them all the time, and even tried to unlock the restroom that the boy was in and said “we need to talk”. ‍♀️ ‍♀️
We asked the manager if we could have two more small bowls. Obviously we didn’t get the small bowls in the end because she was so busy blaming the girl miscalculating the price that she forgot about our bowls.
So the atmosphere was pretty awful. Guests could feel the tension in the air.

All those happened in a Saturday afternoon. I would say “hire someone, cos the kids deserve happy weekends!”

那个老板娘对两个小服务员很凶。客人都觉得气氛紧张☹️
