It was my first time ever trying both lobster and fried clams. I was so excited to try a lobster roll, and seeing that I could get a “Fat Lobster” and get the best of both worlds, plus onion rings and coleslaw, my mind was made up! I was prepared to wait, knowing how esteemed this place is and how busy it can get. I arrived around five or six in the early evening on a Tuesday and it was not busy at all, so I got my food pretty quickly after I ordered! I enjoyed it outside, although there is also indoor seating, but it was a gorgeous day out. The “Fat Lobster” is a lobster roll with coleslaw topped with fried clams and onion rings that comes with a bit more coleslaw on the side. This sandwich was mindblowing! The lobster was so FRESH, perfectly dressed, and the fried clams were tender inside of the crispy breading. The onion rings were on the soggier side, but I didn’t mind the texture considering how crispy the fried clams were. The prices were also amazing! I only paid around $50 with tip included for all this food! But if I lived around this area, I would be in trouble because I would want this at least three times a week! It was so delicious! I will dream about this lobster when I return to the suburbs away from the coast.

We had our first lobster and lobster roll in Massachusetts and it was delicious. It was a little dive kinda carry out, nothing fancy, but the food was good and counter service was just fine. We would definitely visit again when back up north.

We sat outside and watched the storm roll over the water. The view is stunning.

Delicious fresh scallops!! Great service, great view. Sooo many scallops! I feel like there were over 30 fat, juicy, delicious scallops in here!!! This picture is taken after I ate about 5 already. I couldn’t wait! They were soooo good!!!

Good lobster rolls, but definitely pricey especially considering the lobster meat comes from bags and isn’t freshly picked.

Wouldn’t go out of our way to come here again, but would consider it if in the neighborhood.

We really enjoyed lunch and dinner here.

A good amount of outdoor picnic tables overlooking the marsh. Small indoor seating, but it wasn’t too busy when we were there so no issues with seating.

They sell Pepsi products. My mom said they didn’t have cocktail sauce.

We each enjoyed 1 1/4lb lobsters for dinner which came with fries and Coleslaw. The coleslaw is very good, just wish it came with more! I also got the Caesar salad but wish I didn’t because it was too much food. The salad was huge on one of those large oval paper plates. The parm on top was nice.

For lunch my mom got the 1 1/4 lobster again with fries and Cole slaw + the small whole belly clam basket. She really liked them but did say they weren’t as tender as another spot in/near Kennebunkport.

I got the fried oyster dinner and loved them. They were small to very small, but I honestly enjoy them more that way. Probably 30 or so of them. Tons of fries. Probably should have just gotten the oyster basket – not dinner.

Would recommend this spot!

Amazing food that is very busy place. Plan on waiting since it is a hot spot for all the locals and us Nebraska visitors stumbled across some great lobster rolls and onion rings. Recommend the avocado lobster roll!!

While biking recently on Plum Island, my husband & I enjoyed a delicious fried seafood lunch.

There was plenty of available parking in the afternoon. There may be more on the other side of the building as well.

We shared the 2-way combo with oysters and scallops, which came with good fries and cole slaw (in a perfect amount of light dressing, not drowning it). Lemon wedges on the side. The breading on the seafood was light and tasty; the scallops in particular were cooked perfectly – so tender and moist! Fountain drinks (pink lemonade and unsweetened iced tea) were adequate. Alcohol was available. Prices reasonable.

There were a few people in line ahead of us to order, but the line moved very quickly. You are given a pager that vibrates when your order is ready. Ours came out so fast, in about 5 minutes! A lot of people seemed to be picking up food to go.

There is a small indoor eating area with A/C. We were able to snag a table outside under a covering. There was a nice breeze and it was a good spot to relax on the marsh.

When we passed by on our way home around dinnertime, and it was much more crowded – with overflowing parking and a line out the door. (But a beautiful sunset.)

I had the spicy lobster roll which was a good mix up from a regular lobster roll, although it really wasn’t spicy. The lobster poutine was good and quite a lot of food. The clam chowder was also good. I enjoyed the food, but it was a bit pricey, which is why I did not give five stars.

Lobster is my favorite food (I’ve eaten many over the years) and this was absolutely the best lobster I’ve ever had!!
I ordered a whole 1 1/2 pound lobster. It was a bit on the small side but the taste and juiciness was exceptional! I didn’t even add any butter or lemon because it was so delicious. The shell was so soft and easy to crack.
I grew up in Boston but have lived in France for 30+ years. Every time I travel back to Massachusetts to visit my father we go out for a few lobster meals. This was definitely a happy surprise and very memorable. I hope to come back!
