If you’re looking for a meal that arrives swimming in green bean juice and missing half its portions, then Bob Evans is the place for you. For everyone else: run.
Our recent order was an absolute disaster from start to finish. Here’s the breakdown of the “culinary nightmare” we received:
• The Soggy Mess: Apparently, the kitchen staff thinks it’s a good idea to pack green beans in the same container as fried food. Both my Chicken Fried Steak and my husband’s Chicken Tenders arrived completely waterlogged and soggy from the green bean juice. There’s nothing quite like breaded chicken that has the consistency of a wet sponge.
• The Missing Half: Our dessert was forgotten, I had to go back inside to ask for it. The Mac and Cheese was a joke—the container was barely half full. If I’m paying full price, I expect more than a few spoonfuls of pasta.
• The Salad Fail: The croutons were so stale they were borderline inedible, and the salad was buried under an inordinate, frankly bizarre amount of tomatoes. It felt like they were trying to hide the lack of fresh greens.
• The “Fake” Soup: My husband’s Baked Potato Soup tasted incredibly artificial and “off”—we couldn’t even finish it.
This was a waste of money and a complete failure in basic food prep and packaging. Save your appetite and your hard-earned cash. Avoid this location at all costs.

Food was really good. I had the pick 2 for 8.99 cranberry walnut salad and double cheese pot roast sandwich. They were both really good. I would definitely try the pot roast dinner after eating the sandwich it was so tender and seasoned prefect to my taste. Our waitress was nice. It smelled so good when we walked in, just like thanksgiving morning. I thought the prices were very reasonable considering the quality. We will definitely be returning.

Family came in for a great breakfast before heading out shopping for the day. We had good service with a family atmosphere. Food was cooked well and had lots of flavor. Would definitely recommend this location.

The portion of hash browns for my meal were as small as my children’s hands and OVERLY GREESY. One order of Pancakes were burnt the other order weren’t hardly cooked all the way. When I asked the manager about the hashbrowns she told me that’s how they are portioned and have always been portioned which is not true as I’ve came here for over 5 years it’s my entire family’s favorite place to eat. The new general manager had a lack of concern for how the food looked and was presented

Living in Colorado, we don’t have Bob Evans, but growing up in Michigan and Illinois, eating here brings back memories of eating with family here when I was a kid. The food is great and the service was amazing. I recommend trying the new farmhouse biscuit sandwich platter. And get the hashbrowns loaded. And don’t forget the giant chocolate chip cookie to go.

I hadn’t had Bob Evans in nearly 30 years. They’re not in my area anymore and I rarely do more than snack on road trips.
Food was delicious and very filling for a great price! I was impressed! It takes a lot to fill me up.
The wait staff was friendly and on top of refilling coffee, etc.
Great dining experience! You don’t get that much these days.

Sausage was burnt. I asked the waitress if the couldn’t do better.
My wife’s dinner was served with 2-1/2 onion rings, 3 more were brought out 10 minutes later on a separate plate along with the replacement sausage. The sausage was better but still over done. ( I took the second serving home to my dogs).
Not the experience that I expected at Bob Evans. $36.00 for a breakfast skillet and Chicken Strips.
My wife had commented that there were only a few cars in the parking lot at 6:30 on a Friday Evening.

Came here for lunch the other day, it was my first time at a Bob Evans restaurant. Their menu is pretty extensive and they had breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

I ordered the famous sausage chilli and the cranberry pecan (chicken?) salad. Also got an order of the cinna-biscuits.

They weren’t as busy but service was a bit slow, they forgot that I asked for the cinna-biscuits so we had to order it as a takeaway instead. I tried it while they were fresh though and they were good.

The chilli was just okay, nothing too special. I wasn’t sure if the salad came with chicken (I thought it said on the menu) but when I asked a server, she said that I can get chicken added if I asked for it.

Pretty standard, price wasn’t too bad for the portion. I’ll maybe come back and try other dishes next time.
