We’ve gone to many Bob Evans over the last 30 years in different towns and States and have liked most of them but definitely not this one…
Apparently, not all Bob Evans are equal.
This one in particular does a terrible job training its staff. (Didn’t even see a manager on our last visit. Hmm)
Cooks can’t cook or follow requests and wait staff spend more time socializing with each other or on their phones than they do checking on their tables. Corporate needs to come in and update them on following standardize cooking/waiting proceedures.
Food is overcooked (i.e. burnt bacon) or undercooked (i.e. doughy biscuits) or both (i.e. cold soggy in the middle with dried out edges on the hashbrowns).
Wait staff never brought refills. Had to be reminded for missing or remade food items every time they returned to check on ‘how is everything’. Claimed they would take x off the bill when said items never made it to the table by the time we were ready to leave but they didn’t.
On this last visit, our wait for food to come out was normal but previous times were delayed and once our table only got 2/3rds while the 3rd person didn’t even get their food at all by the time the other 2 had finished eating and gotten the bill.
This was the 3rd and last time for us. Different meals, days, times, and staff.
3 chances and 3 strikes.

This is the best Bob Evans out there. We travel alot, this one is the best. They are always pleasant. The food is great. The restaurant is clean. I won’t go to any Bob Evans but this one. This one has us spoiled. I have never been to any restaurant where the employees are all very up beat. Keep it up guys, you’re all the best.

My orders was mistakenly taken by another customer. The manger in Christmas Eve was gracious kind, and very accommodating very quickly. It’s the best bioethics experience I’ve had in many years even though I don’t live in the area it is superb. He was amazing.!? I feel he should be commended for his amazing service and inspiration to his staff

You might want to check expiration date on the sausage gravy. We shared a bowl of biscuits and gravy and it was disgustingly old! We’ve always looked forward to eating it before…we were skeptical when it came out because of the extremely dark brown color. We certainly won’t be ordering that again!

I wish I would’ve had kept my receipt so I could see what the name of the person was. But my friend and I went in on a Monday to have dinner. We got there at 5:30. We didn’t get our food until quarter after six. And when She got her food, the fried chicken steak was cold. The only thing that was warm and I mean lukewarm was her mashed potatoes. It was not busy at all when we were in there and there was five people walking around. It took us 20 minutes just to get our coffee that we ordered. I will not be back at the one in Adrian Michigan ever again it was very disgusting.

This was the best dinner experience we’ve had at Bob Evans in a while. The service at this location other than at breakfast time has been subpar in recent years. Our server last night, Bryan, did a terrific job. The entrees were great and the breads were outstanding. The prices at BE have always been moderate making it a decent deal. I was glad to have a good experience here once again with respect to all important aspects of our visit. The only complaint is that I never have liked the weak coffee they serve here.

Can we say store in disarray. We’re these for my mother’s 85th birthday.
My brother and I specifically told the server multiple times our orders, only to have them delivered wrong. When they did return our plates the entrees were cold, meaning they just scrapped the messed up items off the plate and added what we asked for.
Getting drink refills was a joke.

Horrible experience. My mom and I came into the restaurant and we didn’t see a wait to be seated sigh and no one came up to seat us so we just seated ourselves. It took awhile to be served even though the waitress were all huddled together chatting so we turned around and looked at them. The waitresses then came over and she was really rude. She said this area was not in use and she didn’t see us. We apologized but she was still really rude. We then ordered our food. When we got our food my mom said her salad tasted really moldy so she didn’t want it. We told the waitress and she said she’d talk to her manager. She came back and told us in a mean way that it was probably the blue cheese in the salad. She asked my mom if she wanted something else and my mom said no and she acted really pissed off about it. Then my mom went to pay the bill and the mean waitress rang the bill up and my mom asked if she could get a discount for not being able to eat the salad and she said in a nasty tone It is right there in front of you and you’ve been very rude this whole time. And then she said let’s get you out of here in a nasty tone. We will never be eating at Adrian Bob Evan’s again.

Waitress was wonderful but the food was not great. The French toast was burned and the sweet cream cold brew was just suuuuuper strong coffee with half and half. That is not sweet cream! Bob’s used to have great food but lately it’s just not.
