It was a little busy. Our server Valerie was very helpful. I was stuck between the biscuit platter and the griddle stacker. She suggested the griddle stacker. It was a great choice. Even though it was busy she made sure to make sure everything was good for us. Including her other tables. Will be going back.

The Cod was amazing. The gravy was weirdly thin but flavorful and not hot ugh.
The choices of salad dressing were slim.

This was such a pleasant visit to the Bloomington Bob Evans. The restaurant was clean and full of natural light thanks to the large windows, which made the whole place feel inviting. Our server—a kind and upbeat young gentleman—was incredibly welcoming and helpful. I asked for a recommendation, and he suggested the pot roast sandwich. I took his advice, and I’m glad I did—it was fantastic. I’ll definitely be coming back for that sandwich.
My 7-year-old daughter actually asked to come here because she visits with her grandfather. When I commented that it was a nice place to eat, she said, “Yes. They have good food and it’s nice in here.” She’s right. Both of our meals were generous—we couldn’t finish them—and everything tasted great. The total for both meals was only $16 after tax, which made the value even better.
All around, a great experience. Friendly staff, delicious food, and a peaceful, family-friendly environment. Highly recommend.

This is one of me and boy’s favorite local restaurants. The food is always 10/10!!! They even made a cute little triangle house with my youngest grilled cheese . The food was incredible. I’d give 5 stars if the waitress had been more attentive. I gave 1 star on service because she was kind. She forgot silverware, forgot 3 of our dishes, overcharged us and eventually wasn’t too kind about me asking why, and there were maybe only 3 or 4 other people in the whole restaurant, so it wasn’t like she was too busy. Maybe she was having a rough day, I understand. But besides the service the food is always amazing. LOVE YOUR CHEFFS!!!!

I ate here with my dad and my 15 month old this morning(10-3-25), and the hostess very nicely got us a high chair for the baby without us needing to ask. Most places I go acts like it’s a huge inconvenience to get us the high chair. So I thought that was a very nice gesture. Our food was great, and our server was too. I don’t come to Bloomington often but next time I’ll visit this Bob Evans again!

Very underwhelming. Half of my western omelet had no ham in it, my lightly toasted toast was burnt and soaked in butter. I had to ask for jelly. My drink was never refilled and I had to go to the counter for our check. Food was mediocre and service was nonexistent after ordering.

The food was all good. But I’m giving a single star for the lousy customer service. I ordered over the phone because the app was down. The young woman taking our order, (pardon the expression), sounded very “flaky“. after finally getting my order, placed and getting a total, we headed out to pick it up. We paid for the order and drove 5 miles back home. My teenage daughter bought me dinner & dessert for Mother’s Day. I ordered the turkey and dressing platter that was supposed to come with cranberry relish, but the relish was nowhere to be found. My daughter, with her meal, ordered a cup of cheddar loaded potato soup, which was also missing. I called to request a refund on the soup and was told that the manager was busy and will get to it later tonight. I think it was very poor customer service that the manager could not even get on the phone to discuss the matter with me personally. (I guess I will have to watch my bank account to see if I’m refunded for the soup or not.) I also ordered a slice of the double crust apple pie, which was $4 and is the absolute smallest slice of pie I’ve ever seen in my life. (Judge for yourself in the photo I have uploaded.) I will say the turkey and dressing platter was good, however. So no complaints on the quality of the meal, just desperately lacking in quality customer service. Not sure I’ll be going back to this Bob Evan’s.
