Big fan of Bob Evans restaurants; love their sweet peach tea; purchased turkey dinner with dressing for dinner; returned next morning and ordered Caramel Apples Hotcakes breakfast; Khloe and Rhonda were very good servers;

Overall the experience was terrible.
We both ordered the big wrangler for breakfast. Took a long time for our food to come out, which wasn’t a big deal really but when the food did come out it was room temperature at best. I asked for no green onions and when the server put my plate in front of me, I said I asked for no green onions. It had already taken a while, didn’t want to wait another 30 minutes for them to redo it. I told the server I’d just pick them off. She said OK as she was already walking away with her back towards me. Not even an apology. It was my boyfriend’s birthday so I didn’t want to make a big deal out of it because that’s where he wanted to go. I was just disappointed with the food and the bad service. I’ve never had a bad experience at Bob Evans before, was very unusual.

usually come to Bob Evans early in the mornings and always have an amazing experience the workers are polite, friendly, and the food is great.
However, I came in around 3 p.m. today, and the experience was completely different. The workers in the back were cursing, body-shaming each other, and yelling so loudly that we could hear them over everyone else in the restaurant. It created a really uncomfortable atmosphere.
Our waitress, Hannah, also tried to charge us for banana bread even though it was supposed to come with the meal, saying it was because it had “just been baked.” On top of that, there was plastic cooked into the banana bread itself.
I’ve always loved this location, but today’s visit was honestly horrible and disappointing. I hope management addresses these issues because mornings here are usually so much better than what we experienced this afternoon.

I was seated and waited for a server for twenty minutes. When they showed up, they apologized and said they didn’t see me or know I was there. = Lack of communication between hostess and Server.
The server took my order and got me a drink. The food arrived rather quickly and was as good as most Bob Evans I’ve eaten. By this time my drink was almost empty. The ketchup bottle was definitely empty, which annoyed me slightly.
I finished my food, the breakfast sandwich plate with the gravy, It was all good. I ordered a half serving of Carmel apple hotcakes for desert. I proceeded to wait for a refill before eating the delicious smelling desert.
My server shows back up perhaps 20 minutes later and asks me if I’m okay. I said politely, “No, I need a refill.”
The server then asks me if I need a to go plate for my hotcakes. I replied, “No, I was waiting for a refill before I ate them.” Then the server puts my bill on the table and takes my plate with my fork and spoon.
So there sits my delicious hotcakes, cold and me not being able to eat them for another 10 minutes.
I become annoyed and take the plate of hotcakes to the counter and ask to have it removed from my bill.
I would like to also point out, most of the staff were huddled up almost right in front of where I was sitting, talking and laughing. Paying no attention to the paying customers they are there to serve.

I love Bob Evens, but this was the worst I’ve ever been to. Also hands down the worst service I’ve had in possibility 15 years.

I ordered a turkey and dressing dinner for take-out, really looking forward to a good home cooked meal as per advertised. The restaurant is nice and the service pick-up was very good, I was excited to get home and eat my meal. However, my first bite of the turkey and gravy I was struck by the intense saltiness, and the three small thin pieces of turkey were very symmetric indicating a processed turkey product that had been frozen and reheated. The mashed potatoes and gravy were VERY salty too. I didn’t even try the mac & cheese for fear of salt overload. The buttermilk biscuits were okay, but did not seem freshly baked at the store, more like frozen and reheated. I paid over $15 for this meal that was VERY DISAPPOINTING. Called the store manager today requesting a refund, was told they do not cook with salt and would look into it and get back to me, but I seriously doubt will hear from them at all. The salt must have been added at the factory processor who co-packs this food and ships it frozen to them is my guess. I will not be back, nor will I recommend this restaurant to anyone. I would still like a refund but not holding my breath.

This was the second time that I have had to first waited more than 5 minutes to be seated and at least that long for a server. The first time I waited 45 min for a grilled cheese sandwich and soup..was told 40 min that there was no soup and the sandwich was soaked in butter. Tonight , I waited over an hour for my food when others who came in before me received their food first but who also waited too long. I finally left and the server kept playing with her hair. I won’t be returning.

They are severely understaffed. Twice we have tried to visit on a weekday evening for dinner. The first time we were told by the server that they didn’t have enough staff so we would be waiting a long time to get seated We left and thought we would give it a try another day. This time we were seated but it took 30 minutes to even order drinks. Almost 1 hour and 45 minutes to get food. If a place can’t staff it needs to either hire more or change up their hours. Maybe only serve breakfast and lunch.

We did dine in, we are from East Central Indiana, we were visiting around the area and Louisville KY for a weekend get away, we had a great server on Saturday around 11 a.m. the locals eating in the restaurant were very friendly as well, and the rest of the staff was great! Thanks for the great service and being so friendly to my husband and I! We really enjoyed our meal and the people! Keep up the awesome job!

First of all: The food is borderline robbery for the prices compared to the quality…
Second, and most importantly: The restaurant hours are incorrect. While to most people this may seem like it isn’t a big issue, but to my fellow people with disabilities, you will understand. To those who don’t have disabilities, I hope you can understand where we are coming from. My brother brought a friend with Cerebral Palsy to the restaurant, a decent forty minute drive, to eat lunch. From the outside, it is not easy to tell that it is closed, especially when there are plenty of cars in the parking lot. For those who know, getting in and out of a vehicle with Cerebral Palsy is not easy, and can come with a multitude of difficulties for different people.

While a restaurant may close unexpectedly for a day, it is VERY easy to change on Google that it is closed. This should be a restaurant and public business standard; updating your customers is a five minute hinderence to only one employee of the business. AKA the manager???

Service was great but hashbrowns were undercooked and fries were overcookered.

Update 2/2023: our server was fantastic but there just doesn’t seem to be any saving for the cooking. Hashbrowns and eggs were swimming in oil. Likely won’t visit this location again.
