We come here when you want a chill, cozy breakfast or lunch. Haven’t bad an issue in a long while, the food is always good and the waiters are always pretty nice. It’s exactly what you’d expect from a nice corporate diner.

Ordered the family portion Pot Roast and this is evidently the portion that feeds 6?? Fills up a little over half a bowl when transferred out of their containers.
When I went back in to ask if it was the correct portion size or if a mistake was made, because my fiancé and I get just as much in 2 individual orders combined and this was supposed to “Feed 6”. I also pointed out there was pretty much no onions and no green onions as advertised. The manager said, “ummm…. Uh, looks right. Maybe needed a few more carrots.”
The woman working the counter chimed in and said, “or more meat” and was given a look from the manager that caused her to apologize for her comment. Why she felt the need to apologize for being what she felt was honest? Unsure. However that interaction made me feel very uneasy about how management must treat the employees behind closed doors.
Wouldn’t order family sized portions from here unless you want to get all the sides and bread galore, with no actual entree for your friends and family to enjoy.

Pretty bland and inoffensive food, which is great for those picky eaters in your crew. You know what to expect here, and that’s what you’ll get.
I will note that they’ve changed up their menu over the years, and it looks more interesting than it once was.

Would give zero stars if I could. Seated at a sticky crumby table and only asked what we wanted after both my wife and I went to the restroom. Waited 40 minutes after ordering and the food still came out cold. My shrimp was still frozen and asked for new shrimp which they happily tried again. The shrimp then came back hard as a rock and found mold on the bottom of my broccoli. They also served my not even 2 year old daughter moldy fruit. All young kids as well.

We stopped here on our way back home to Michigan from South Carolina. This was our worst experience in any restaurant we visited in the five days we were traveling. The food was good. Reasonable prices. I dont know of if our server was having a bad day or something but she was not happy to be at work. All the other servers seemed to very warm and personable to their tables. Our server, Macie, was cold and acted like we were an inconvenience to her day.

Explain how this cup of “Soup” is $4.50 it’s not even half full! It was cold, it was thicker than max and cheese!! These fries are sure not worth $3 and we’re also cold!! When I called to complain I was NOT happy! I should’ve gotten a full refund! I even offered to bring the food back! The “manager” said no. I eat from Bob evans 1-3 times a week!! I HAVE NEVER seen portions like this!! I ordered the same soup last week & it was hot, it was soup & it was full!! Highly disappointed & im very sad to say it!! The manager just kept telling me this was the true portion size!!

Dear lil Bob,
Its been a very, very long time since I’ve visited a Bob Evans and I was quickly reminded why it had been such a long time. The food is good, service eh, cleanliness bleh very bleh I had forgotten the last time I was here I had to continuously ask for clean cutlery and plates. This time I took it upon myself to clean it with a diaper wipe. Many moons ago the manager had told me that the dishwasher was out of some magical liquid that removed the protien from the dishes. Since this is mainly a “breakfast place” with the chickens working extra hard serving lots of eggs. All the dishes had speckles of food (protein) left. Apparently that magical fluid must still be in short supply years later.
The food is good but I rather not eat my food and the last person’s food maybe, just maybe if the dishes didn’t for such a long time at a table this wouldn’t be such an issue. As we arrived the table past the “social distancing” table was dirty and stayed dirty the entire time. As well as the floor under our table. I’ve helped many restaurants in my day. You’re a chain and should be held to a higher standard.
