Carry out order made an hour and a half in advance. Someone called about 20 minutes before pick-up, they’re out of chicken noodle soup. Okay, substitute a salad. Obviously nothing ready when we go there. Pick up person says oh yeah I wanted to ask you about what kind of salad you want. Left after standing there for 20 minutes, almost two hours after the order was placed. Does not appear anything was ever prepped or bagged,

Went there on the Dec 29th for my birthday had breakfast it was in the morning around 8am. Order mini sampler. Over easy egg toast hash browns. Egg was over done crispy edges the toast was burnt. I wouldn’t have served this if I was the waiter. I don’t complain but as this was awful for a breakfast place. It was the servers fault but he shouldn’t have severed it. Won’t be back for awhile.

New management is needed. Every single time I come here they go on “wait” which means not seating anymore tables until caught up. I have never seen a restaurant operate like this. Leaving customers waiting in the lobby instead of seating customers at one of the many available tables. The staff and leaders show how frazzled they are to the customers. It is a shame this used to be a family restaurant now it’s just a head ache. I hope Greenville gets another breakfast option soon open later. I traveled 40 mins to eat breakfast here and waited 20 mins in the lobby. Decided to come back in an hour and waited in the lobby for 40 mins until I left and went to BDubs. Ridiculous wait time. Schedule the staff correctly. Be proactive for Sunday rush instead of shutting the restaurant down because you are overwhelmed.

A disappointing meal yesterday evening. My mom ordered her normal turkey and dressing. Usually the turkey is sliced and looks fresh. However, this time it looks like she got the scraps from the bottom. The broccoli wasn’t fresh, as seen in photos, and she wouldn’t eat it. I’m not sure why anyone would even try to serve those looking like that. The rolls were hard and they are usually soft. She asked for replacements and they were hard, also. She couldn’t eat those either. Although I have no complaints about my soup, we still prefer the Troy location over Greenville. Which is a shame since we live in Greenville.

We went to breakfast with some friends. It was a total of six of us. The date was 8/23/25. When we first got sat down, the table still had dried egg from the last customer on it. We had to ask the girl who seated us to please clean the table more thoroughly and she did. Then when we got our meals and my friend’s wife ordered eggs with gravy, she asked for the eggs to be well done. When she got her order the eggs were buried under the gravy so she peeled back the gravy and both eggs were slimy not done. So we sent the plate back and told the server that these eggs are not well done. The server brought the plate back the second time and my friend‘s wife inspected it and found that the eggs were still slimy and not done , so we asked that she just remove the meal from the ticket. We don’t want it. The server proceeds to look at the eggs and say they look done to me with a snotty attitude. When the server came back to refill our coffee we told the waitress that we didn’t appreciate her attitude with the way the meal was prepared, and she proceeded to tell us that she’s worked there for 15 years and she knows when eggs are well done when they’re not. Needless to say the server got zero tip. When we paid our bill we talked to the manager and told him how we were treated by the server, and he assured us that he would take care of the problem. We will never be back to this Bob Evans Restaurant. The amazing part about reading all these reviews , Bob Evans always answers with: “We’re so sorry for your experience and we’re gonna look into this”. But yet the reviews are one month ,two months , eight months, nine months , a year old , still the same issues going on with management and with workers.

Honestly one of my go-to places in Greenville. I mean where else can you get a tasty, decent portioned, home style meal for under $12 these days?? I love the whole laid back vibe of the place which helps me overlook the not so rushed service. They’re still very friendly and helpful and it’s always clean; I’ll continue to be a regular guest.

The server was nice and friendly. Very quick to take my order.
Table not clean.
Apple juice glass was gritty so I asked for another apple juice in a to go cup.
I took my silverware to the ladies room to wash it. It also had food residue on it.
The banana bread seemed pretty doughy. Not the texture I remembered it being last month at another location within 20 miles.
The bacon was perfect.
The two eggs were cooked as ordered.
Not worth the $14 price, not including 20 percent tip.
If I would’ve found a better value in a meal and experience, I would’ve left a larger tip, on this bill.

We waited 45 minutes to be seated while there were 12 empty tables on just one side. Many more on other side. Was told the cook line was backed up. Waiter was nice, however every employee was moving at the speed of snail. Many people walked out and still no one was being seated. At one time there were 15 people waiting. And we were just being ignored.

So I’m going to be strait to the point on this. Im a manager in a different food chain. I know what food safety is and good quality service is. Its SO important. I wish that no stars was an option for reviews because of this Bob Evans. About a year ago, we was ordering country fried steak family meals. Online order. They kept forgetting the gravy that comes with the steak. So the last time I went in there, I confronted them and asked. They willingly told me that they knew it comes with the gravy but was purposely not putting it in there because the biscuits and gravy already comes with gravy. I never raised my voice, I simply told them I need not only what I paid for but also what comes on their menu. They gave it to us. Today is 9/9/25. We decided to try bob evans again after that last visit which was 1 year ago. It states that it’ll be ready by 11:26am. When we put in the order at 11:06am.We got there about 11:46am because we had to pick up frozen grocery items. The order was not ready and they didn’t give us a time that it would be done. So by 12:26pm they finally had our order. The place was not busy at all, and there was at least 6 people there working that i could see. Their excuse about being behind was that there was not enough openers. Its mid day now guys. Anyway we check the bag to make sure all the food we ordered was there. Yes it was. Very good. Get home 10 minutes later, rushing inside to put thawed meat into the freezer. Only to find that they didn’t give us any plastic silverware, no butter or syrup for the pancakes. The hashbrowns and eggs were not cooked except scrambled. The food was also cold. Which if the order wasn’t ready and we had to wait 30 minutes extra then why on earth is the food cold. These 6 people had no urgency in their service. They all just walked slowly and let the phone ring several times before picking it up. And there was only an elderly couple eating in when I looked. Sure they could have had some people hidden around the corner. But holy moly this place hasn’t gotten better in 1 year. Our order was also $50. Just a bunch of waste. So with all this information how is it that they are passing the food safety. There is no way this place can still be open if they can’t even serve cooked food and clean dishes. Also the fact that they have a broken tile on their ceiling. These are all points being taken away on their food safety inspection yet they haven’t done anything about it in 1 year. Its their own fault if everyone eating here suddenly get sick. Would they do something then if there was an outbreak.
