Toast is supposed to be BROWN. Hash browns are supposed to be BROWN. It’s in the name for Christs sake. When customers ask for well done hash browns, please teach your cooks to make them brown and crispy. It’s ridiculous the many Bob Evans I’ve been to, and asked for hash browns to be actually Brown and don’t receive it. We’re officially done with Bob Evans. Not a manager in sight ♀️

Once a month, my wife and I treat the kids to a breakfast out. Bob Evans was always our go to establishment. That changed today. I spoke to the manager as I checked out and she was very nice and removed my meal from the invoice. This was not asked for nor was it expected. I do not look for free meals. It was kind of her to do so but our displeasure went beyond my individual meal. My wife’s biscuits were extremely salty, the orange juice that we all had (5) was from concentrate and very obvious. Instead of a sweet orange juice it was sour and bitter. All three of my children were not happy with the taste of their meals. I personally had the country fried steak with scrambled eggs, loaded hash browns and white toast. Wow! Where to start. The steak was a processed piece of meat, with what should have been sausage gravy but reflected more of a plastic look and texture and not a sight of sausage chunks. ( I scrapped it off to the side and did not eat it). The hash browns seemed to be a bleached product as I have never seen such a pure white potato in all of my 64 years on earth. The white toast had been buttered with something that was very yellow in color. Nothing like what real butter would look like. I do not know what it was nor did I eat it.
We have enjoyed Bob Evans for many years but the products being served today are not that of what once were. “Down on the farm” has been replaced with ” out of the factory”. This is the death of an American institution and we, as I’m sure many others, are sad to see go.

The server that took care of me was by farrr one of the worst I’ve experienced in a long time. She was rude from beginning to end. She never came to my table to greet me. She walked up & said “Whatcha drinking!?” Huhh!!! Excuse me!? No.. “hello, my name is ___, can I start you off with something to drink? Brings my drinks & proceeds to ask “Whatchu eating?” No eeal professional customer service. More like a, “hurry up & order, im busy” She delivers my food with no silverware. I call her back to my table (she went 2 tables over) for silverware & she completely ignores me, walked away to the kitchen. I got up to ask the host for silverware & he gave it to me. About 10 mins later, she comes up to me asking what was it that I needed. I was pissed at this point!!! No tip for you!!!! I work in the service industry & customer service goes a long way.

I had a taste for breakfast..fluffy pancakes and eggs, with some sausage patties. I got my food and it was the opposite of fluffy. My pancakes were heavy and a little gummy and my eggs did not fluff at all. The grits nor the eggs had any seasoning on them. The service was pleasant and my server was attentive. I enjoyed listening to their personal life stories from the kitchen and service counter.

I purchased this family meal for 4, and 41 dollars , this is what I received. The chicken was overcooked, and the breading fell off .They gave me a box with 10 rolls , and a big mashed potato, and a little tiny container of gravy . The sides was the only thing good .I can’t believe they have the nerve to serve something like this .This is the worst review I’ve ever posted. I’m not a picky person, but really ! I could have taken back but it’s not worth it whoever them cooks are they are terrible. I would advise you not to eat here I have 150 + reviews , and this is the first 1 star one of all .

I came for breakfast with my family and was disappointed. My food was good, but my server was terrible! My server was Naudia was ignoring my table and messed up my tables entire order. She was aware that we knew a chef on the kitchen and chose to ignore our table while taking care of other customers.
When we placed our order she pretended to write out our order and read the order back to us. Just for all of our food to come out incorrect and cold. When we pointed out that the order was wrong she quickly blamed the chef we knew! Once we corrected the order with the chef, we received our food fresh and hot.
This was a frustrating experience and would not come back here based on the service alone. Please train your servers how to multitask and be attentive to their tables!!!

Food is always delicious eggs always cooked perfect . My daughter absolutely love the piggy pancakes!! Only down fall is service is slacking. Please dont let people coffee or drinks run out and they have to wave you down to refill this is probably the only thing ill drop your tip% no reason you dont check in on your table min 3 times. And if people have young kids need high seat probably offer them instead of the customer request one, little stuff like that goes along way.

We ordered a pick up tray for Thanksgiving and I accidentally ordered the wrong type of turkey. I ordered a whole turkey breast instead of a sliced turkey breast.
The manager made it right and swapped it with the sliced turkey, partly because the whole turkey breast was still sealed.
No attitude, even though we were stressed because it was the day before Thanksgiving and we needed that turkey.
We all enjoyed it, and there was very little leftovers. Bob Evans can be hit or miss with food quality, but since this was our first time getting food from this location, I can say between the manager taking care of us and the cleanliness of the restaurant, along with quality of food we got, we are planning on going in for a meal very soon.

only got one top up for my coffee, and i had to ask for that. finally, the fans were on even though it is only fifty degrees outside. my food came warm and was cold halfway through because of said fans.
