Having moved out of the area, I miss places like Bob Evans.
Nowhere I’ve been does Farmhouse restaurants quite like the Midwest, and Bob Evans is sort of the prototypical example.
The food isn’t amazing, no – but it’s cozy, like a warm hug. The service is a bit lackadaisical but in a charming way.
I just appreciate that there’s a place you can get pot roast, corn bread, meatloaf, breakfast skillets, all the works. It’s not life changing, but that’s kind of the point. It’s exactly what it needs to be.

I took my dad out for breakfast to the Bob Evans on Reynolds Road/306. The restaurant was not busy at the time we went in. It was very clean and welcoming.
Our waitress was PHENOMENAL but I unfortunately don’t remember her name. Her personality is what we need to see at any restaurant when we’re being served. She makes you smile and laugh while you’re enjoying your food.
I had no problems with my breakfast. I got the blueberry pancakes. They were amazing! The reason I gave the food 3 stars it’s because my dad was extremely disappointed in his food. He got the french toast with fried chicken and was very excited to try it. Unfortunately, the chicken was very hard and rubbery, so he had a hard time eating it. I was having a hard time even cutting it for him. I let our amazing server know but I wish I would have asked for another meal to be cooked for him because he went home very disappointed and hungry. He did not feel good the next day. I’m not sure if it’s because the food. Hopefully he doesn’t experience any problems with the food in the future because he said he was looking forward to coming back again if he can get something served that he can enjoy.

I’m sad that I’m actually writing this. Every year I Order two meals on Christmas Eve. I walked into the restaurant when I usually Place online. I had a question about a pricing ETC the manger informed me that they could only honor the price if placed online. No worries I decide to do just that. I look around Its only about five tables being served. keep that in mind, I return to the counter to et them know not to place the “gravy or breaded meat together” the individual informed the cooks. Only for them to do the complete opposite. it was even written on the ticket stapled to my bag. When I brought it up again to the manger she told me that something they CAN’T do.I also inform them that I was missing ALL THE BASIC SUCH AS> Bread butter utensils and the cranberry sauce ETC. The manger said OH WOW SHES MISSING EVRYTHING…. I said that so strange seeing as its never been a problem to have the gravy on the side and the Breaded meat separate. I watched as the cashier remover the breaded meat that is now WET from green bean juice into a separate container. Only for me to send it back. I waiting another 43mins for them to remake it. Only to get all the way to work which is 45min away to find that the famous turkey three course meal Had ONE slice of turkey. the cheddar bacon soup had no bacon. the gravy was leaking all over the bag. How because yet again it wasn’t placed on the side.
my regular holidays famous meal was completely ruined. Some might think oh they were overwhelmed. When it wasn’t true they actually had the staff. Yet the ball was dropped.
I left a Cash tip before all the clown activities took place. I decided to reach out to a company email that listed.

It was pretty empty but we waited an exceptionally long time for our order. (Two of which were omelets). The food was cold and unseasoned, the drinks were not good (Arnold Palmer would have spit this one out, juice tasted watered down) Cheese never did melt on the omelet and the potato skillet made bad cooking look good. Including pictures. The coffee was even bad. How do you mess up coffee?

*High Prices* service was good, food was good. we wouldn’t return back to or recommend this location.
If they didn’t charge so much for their orange juice & 2 pieces of toast I’d give them 4 stars and probably return.

The food that is Bob Evans was very good. We ordered the cup of soup with either a half a salad or a half a sandwich and have to say that it was very filling and reasonable at less than $9 per person using this menu item. They served a reasonable quantity for the soup and the salad or sandwich was more than enough with the soup. We had a very good server and overall the interior was clean. Well lit and we did not have any wait for a table on a Thursday night?.

Bob Evans is our first choice for breakfast when dining out. (Getting there before 9 am is best for beating the rush). I always forget to take a picture of our meal, I will the next time we visit. My husband loves the French toast. My favorite is the Rise & Shine.
**I remembered to take a picture!

From South Carolina now, when we come home we always stop for some good Ole Bob Evans. The meal did not disappoint, the service was okay. She was okay just missing some personal touches that a server should offer.

Ordered online, went in later than time said to be ready and stood at the carry out counter for 5 minutes before anyone came over to greet me. Waited another 5 min for food. I ordered some sandwiches and soup which were all cold! Very disappointed.
