Today was my dad’s heavenly birthday, so cooking was not on the agenda. I ordered Bob Evans, thinking it would handle dinner.
It did not.
The chicken was rubbery and tough. It did not taste right, and chicken is not something you gamble with. I didn’t sign up for a food challenge.
The macaroni and cheese showed up as macaroni. The cheese must have called off work. No flavor. No creaminess.
The dressing? It deserved better. Dry. Sad. Confused about its purpose.
Bob Evans, this was not it. And as Cher said, if I could turn back time, I absolutely would and reverse this entire order.
In a nutshell, the chicken fought back. The mac and cheese forgot the cheese. The dressing needed supervision.
Money wasted. Appetite offended. Expectations lowered.

I ordered the Pot Roast Dinner with dinner rolls as a carry out. Needless to say it wasn’t served as described. The food was luke warm almost cold not to mention the rolls cold no butter (to their credit I didn’t ask)
It was around 5:20 things were very slow at the #182 Holland Ohio location. Maybe that’s why items possibly leftover from the dinner rush and served that way. Thank God I have a microwave. Do better Bob!

So apparently they are cutting down on their portions. Order the sunshine skillet And I got Half.
Of the portion that they normally do. District manager happened to be here and said that all of their portions are getting downsized. But you still get to pay that normal price.smh All though food was still great Just not what you would normally pay for Portion wise

I just had the absolute worst food ive ever eaten at a Bob Evans facility. I called in for a togo order for my children, husband and i. The sweet girl leah on the phone was new and i could tell that, so i told her i didnt mind waiting to have her get help with my order. Well she put Caitlin on the phone and Caitlin was very rude taking the order. She was rushing through saying “anything else”and not even getting my order right at all. After takng my order she didnt repeat a single thing back nor did she even tell me a total or expected time to pick it all up. We arrived 10 mins after our order was placed so we would make sure we got hot food and when we arrived home everything was ice cold. My pot roast sandwich was soggy to the point i couldn’t add gravy to it or the bresd would of melted away. My onions and hashbrowns were still frozen and my green beans tasted like they were a year old. The dressing i ordered was literally croutons with hot water mixed in and then my son didnt even get his french toast as i did order the farmers choice. I know this bob evans has way better potential to do way better. We need people that love their jobs and want to make sure that customer satisfaction is their first priority. I have worked in the food industry for over 20 years and this has to be one of the top 5 worst experiences ive ever encountered. Then, when i called to let then know about my unhappiness, catlin barely wanted to speak to me or take my information down

I also asked who i could talk to about getting my cash refunded because i ordered 55.00$ in food and i was told she (caitlin) could not give cash refunds she could only refund a card. All in all Ive been coming to Bob Evans with my grandparents since ive been a child and NEVER recieved food or service that horrible at a Bob Evans. I would like a refund please and not just coupons to come back as i am very turned off my soggy bread and rock hard biscuits.

Haven’t been in years. Came back and they’ve changed a LOT. Mac n cheese and coslaw tasted weird, potions are clearly smaller, half the food on the SAME PLATE was cold while the other half was burning hot. It was nice and quiet though.

My experience at this restaurant was very pleasant. Everyone was extremely courteous, my order was prepared and brought to my table pretty quick, and it was hot and fresh. This location has a new General Manager, too. His name is Dominic and almost the entire time I was enjoying my dinner he was in the dining area visiting with the customers, including me. So, come on down to The Farm, enjoy delicious quality meals, and do say hello to the GM.

So we spent a good chunk of money for our order which was supposed to be beef tips and mashed potatoes/loaded mashed potatoes and what we got was a dry hamburger patty barely covered in mushrooms and onions. They said it’s beef and threw it in there I guess. If this wasn’t supposed to be a Christmas dinner for my mom I wouldn’t be so upset but even her beef tips were a hamburger patty. My husband ordered the cow cake and we did not receive that either but were charged for it. Hoping they can make this right because you never know if it was someone’s worse week and this dinner could’ve set everything right in their mind again. Nope. Goes to show how uncaring this state is. Why bother having a restaurant if you don’t care? Why bother coming in to work if you’re just going to make things harder for others? I’m sorry if this makes anyone upset but we are not happy. It was our first time ordering from this location and we will be avoiding it in the future.

My husband and I ordered food to go . Was told it was going to be ready 20 mins after we ordered. Arrived a little early . Ended up waiting 30 mins on top of the original 20 mins so we’re at 50 mins now . Meanwhile the host is on his phone . We loved this Bobs and it’s just not the same the past few times. Makes me sad .

There were maybe 4 other tables with diners, seemed to be a full staff, yet we had to wait 20 minutes for a table. Couldn’t get our free refills of our cold brew coffees. Server wasn’t good about refills in general.

The server was very nice and we were sat down quickly with menu’s ready. It wasnt busy for a Sunday evening and within 5 minutes our drinks were ready with food on the way. I recommend the rise and shine burger.
