Being from the south, I have really been wanting a HOMECOOKED county fried streak. I pass Bob Evans every day on the way to work.So I decided to stop in one morning and order one. Let’s just say I could’ve gotten a frozen Patty and corn for $2 at Kroger.In a frozen meal that would have been better than what I got. It bothered me so bad that they just threw some frozen food in a plate that I called up there and told them how disappointed I was the manager was very , very nice and very accommodating , and she told me the next time I wanted a meal to call them. This morning , I called and decided to give them another chance but I told her I wanted something that was handbreaded and fried,. She suggested the chicken , so I said , great , and I took her advice. This is what I got.It was terrible.I will never be back and let’s just say presentation, wise, Ellen may go.You can do better by a banquet frozen meal from the grocery store.

There was a little bit of a wait, which I believe due to staffing. But once we were sat, the service was nice and welcoming. The french toast tasted great, like it was homemade. The chicken sausage was also pretty good. They had a non-caffeinated (lemon ginger) hot tea which was nice. Overall, I enjoyed my visit and would definitely come again.

Was in Bob Evans today at 12:45 pm. It was very busy, little wait time, everyone was hustling to get tables ready, customers waited on. All employees were busy, very polite, and food came out promptly and tasted absolutely delicious. I was so very impressed at the way everyone worked together and got things done in a timely manner and prompt, delicious service at the same time. Way to go, Bob’s. I am from Galena and would drive to that location for that type service and day, any time.

This is the best Bob Evans restaurant that I have ever been to. I have deliberately avoided BE restaurants for over 3 years. Gahanna BE at Hamilton and Morrison has brought me back!
The only problem at this location is getting into and out of the restaurant parking lot. There is a car wash entrance lane that extends out onto the road/entrance to Bob Evans. I had to wait for 3 cars to advance into the car wash to get to the restaurant entrance.
