I actually ordered delivery from you guys as I have before. I’m learning that getting carryout from the store you get one product, ordering through doordash VIA Bob Evans website and ordering through a third party app you don’t get the same product. I’ve had no complaints ordering pickup and getting it myself. I’ve ordered through Uber eats also no complaints however today I ordered country friend steak which is $17.63 the app (on understand the upcharge to recoup food cost through these delivery services. Anyhow my order this morning was laughable. I ordered fruit as a side and got hash browns. My country fried steak well usually comes with gravy on it. I maybe had a spoonful not enough for the steak itself and not enough when your paying over $17.00. I would hope Bob Evans would want to serve the same product no matter how your receiving your order. If this is the case and you get less for a higher price well I’m not sure what that says about Bob Evans as a company. It’s almost like they put gravy on it and realized it wasn’t a pickup order and took some off.

We were visiting from New Jersey, and stopped in for lunch. We had the most amazing server her name is Fran. She was so attentive our coffee mugs were never empty. She was so funny and the best customer service ever. Thank you Fran.

Dine-in service is consistently good this year, and the meals are perfectly cooked. On our last visit, there was no wait during peak lunch hours, and the waitress was fantastic: got our orders as soon as we sat, checked on us, brought drink refills before we were empty just because the food was coming, and had the plates out as soon as they were ready. We ordered breakfast, and everything was tasty.

We come here every time we celebrate something for my daughter and I usually don’t complain. I like to give good reviews, but this was the worst experience that we’ve ever had. I really don’t like to complain when giving reviews I like to give out good reviews, but this was by far the worst experience we’ve ever had at the Bob Evans’s.
First of all when I went to the bathroom to wash my hands, the water was not working, not in the women’s or men’s bathroom so I stood there with soap all over my hands while the girl upfront just kept taking peoples orders which okay I get that’s her job she probably did not know how to help me.
Although she did kept trying to tell the manager that there was bottles of water that I could’ve used to rinse my hands off while I’m standing there with soap all over my hands and a line of customers! I had to let one guy know that was walking into the bathroom that there was no working water so he didn’t even go in.
My daughter’s food came out first and she was done eating by the time that our food came out. I guess I could look at the bright side and think okay at least she got her food when it was warm.
My mother’s food was literally uneditable. The soup came out completely spilled all over the plate, which is insane to present someone’s dinner like that in a restaurant. Also, her sandwich was literally uneditable. The roast beef was so hard. She could not even cut it with a knife, and it was supposed to be shredded roast beef on her sandwich And also, my daughter‘s food came out warm, my mothers did not. We Told our server about the sandwich and she said that there’s nothing that she could do so we asked for the manager of course, I don’t know why you wouldn’t ask your manager before saying yeah pay for the sandwich that was hard as a rock and the soup that spilled all over the plate.
I don’t think we will be returning to this Bob Evans for a while. We’ll stick to a different location. This is very disappointing.

Five of us tried to eat at the Bob Evans in New Albany- two are deaf and blind men. They said it would be a 15-20 minute wait which is understandable especially for a larger party. We asked for a table vs a booth as a booth is harder for them to sit into and we didn’t want to risk them falling. We proceeded to wait more than 45 minutes and there was a large rectangular table open. They refused to sit us there because they said that table is for parties of 6 or more. We asked to speak to the manager to let us sit there and no manager came. I heard the hosts talking saying that a server said they couldn’t sit us there. I imagine it is because they did not want to serve deaf/blind or becuase they are greedy and wanted a larger party for a larger tip. We will be calling the ADA to let them know about this. How dare they make deaf and blind men wait that long and refuse to sit us at a larger table when there was no one else waiting. Shame on you Bob Evans.

Picked up Thanksgiving to go for an elderly parent at a nearby senior facility. The food was hot. The portions were generous. The service was fast. It all went very smoothly.

New chicken tenders family meal. Chicken was tasty. Mashed potatoes good. Buttered corn had so much seasoning and salt that it was inedible. Takeout service was great.

Terrible service. My spouse and I FREQUENTLY visit Bob Evans, this particular location to be exact. After waiting for service once being seated, the waitress did not enlighten us with her name after waiting 10 minutes. Once she came to our table, she rushed us with our drink orders and mentioned if we didn’t have our order ready she was leaving us to cater other customers, but in fact we were ready at the moment and said that once she came to the table initially.
We waited for our food for about another 15 minutes, where she forgot condiments that we inquired that we wanted when we first ordered. My needed a refill and she did not come back to give EITHER of us refills or bother to check in on us after the food was dropped off. In fact, she didn’t even drop off the check and we had to walk to the front of the restaurant to be acknowledged by her once finished. I asked another server if I could talk to a manager (Brittany Hawkins) and she made a sly comment to the server that pulled her over and she was nonchalant about the experience and concerns that I had. She reduced the bill by taking off one sandwich but did not want to hear about the experience we encountered. I understand staffing is an issue, as it is everywhere. However, blatantly being ignored by our server while she was attentive to every table she had outside of us is truly unacceptable. Please enlighten your staff about guest experiences in the future. Poor service equals losing my hard earned money and support.
