Typical Bob Evans. Don’t go there for gourmet food, but good food. Has the ham steak. Really good. Mashed potatoes. Not crazy about the green beans. Standard but good dinner roll. Husband said chicken fingers were good.
Next day went for breakfast. Good bacon. Milk gravy was more browned than we prefer.

The meal was full of rich flavors, and both the white and brown gravies were outstanding. Everything arrived hot, just the right temperature to enjoy immediately. The eggs and sausage links were cooked flawlessly, making for a truly satisfying breakfast.

Came in for the Veteran’s Day meal with my 8yo. She got a bacon cheeseburger with lettuce, but when it showed up there was no lettuce. The waitress went back and brought us this plate of lettuce which looks like it came from the bin. I just ended up leaving it there without complaining because there is no way you didn’t look at that lettuce before you put it on the plate and brought it out to us. The two rib parts have clearly been picked over. Everything else was great.

Everything was fine but the outstanding service is the reason I’m taking time to leave a review. Tonya (?) provided the best service I have every had. Her memory was off the charts! As she placed each plate on the table, she deadpan joked about substitutions like, for the guy who replaced bacon with fruit, ‘here’s your extra bacon,” and so on around the table of five. All from memory. Also, friendly but let us talk and provided timely drink replacements! She was just fabulous! Give that girl a raise!

We came into shelter from a storm. Food was decent, just because it’s something that I don’t like, doesn’t necessarily mean it wasn’t good. The service was great. Vanessa was awesome. The place was nice and clean. The bathrooms were clean on a great place to stop and see and eat. Especially when you’re weary from the road. Could be a little bit warmer and it’s kind of chilly, but it’s really cold outside anyway. Stop by and say Hi to Vanessa and get a nite to eat.

This place was amazing. The food was delicious, and our server was the best! She was friendly but above all, very patient. We were 13 and my family is not the easiest to serve and she went above and beyond.
Great food selection and I honestly think this is better than Cracker Barrel.
It was my first time in North Carolina and I wish they had this in Los Angeles.

Good food at a reasonable price. The turkey dinner was nicely seasoned. Substituted broccoli for the carrots. The broccoli was tender, neither mushy nor crunchy. Good sized portions.

Yes, please! Timeless classic. Food and cute gift shop! We had the Wildfire chicken salad (lettuce so fresh it crunches like a good pickle), pot roast (flavorful, tender), cole slaw (creamy, sweet, tangy), potato soup (thick, cheesy) and banana bread (soft, fresh). Breakfast ALL day! Excellent, friendly service! Please bring more locations to Florida. 🙂

So good. As usual, it was a little chilly inside, but it’s hot on the staff, so I understand. The food was very, very good. As you can see, great portion sizes, I love having enough to take home , especially breakfast. That doesn’t happen often. The store and the restrooms were very clean and well kept. The main thing I want to review is the service. We were there between 8:30 AM-9:30 AM. Our server was the only one there and she was great! There must’ve been 10 other tables she was working. She gave us the right amount of time to figure out what we wanted and we didn’t have to wait on or ask for a refill. She was pleasant the entire time that we were there, and not only to us, but just in general. She seemed to be enjoying what she was doing, which was nice to see with things being the way they are in the world currently. I don’t remember her name, but she was great and deserves for her management to know it. The kitchen deserves props too. The food had a lot of flavor, both the white and brown gravy were delicious and it was hot when it got to us, but not scorching. Eggs and sausage links were prepared perfectly. I wish the bacon had been a little crispier, but I didn’t ask for that, so that’s on me, but it was still flavorful. Overall a great experience and we will be back if we’re down thst way again.
