While visiting WVA my wife and I stopped by this Bob Evans in South Charleston for breakfast and lunch. All total we ate here three times. This was our first time at Bob Evans because they don’t have them out west. Our waitress was a young lady named Laura. She was very kind and polite and returned to our table several times to see if we needed anything and kept my coffee cup full. The prices, the service, and the food was great!

Today’s experience was great. Usually depends on who is working just like everywhere else today, it seems. Seated quickly and the server was at the table pretty fast. She was friendly and introduced herself as Sarah. Food came out within 10 minutes of ordering and was hot and correctly prepared. I had the fork tender pot roast and it was delicious. Thanks!!!

Bob Evans is your standard chain American restaurant. We went there for breakfast and the place wasn’t too busy. Our waitress was fantastic. The food came out nice and hot. The eggs were perfect. I wish there was more seasoning on the cheesy potatoes. Otherwise, it was decent. I have no complaints.

Unusually slow, waited over 1/2 hour after waitress took our order. Also, after initial drinks brought it took the waitress a bit to get back to us. Perhaps understaffed???
The coffee was great! My meal was excellent! Waitress was very nice, even patient and attentive. Laura kept her in cool though very busy.
All in all, I’d give 4 1/2 stars.

For the first time ever, we decided to order our Thanksgiving meal out, we had just lost our dad and we just didn’t have the heart to cook a big meal. So we ordered the hot thanksgiving family meal, my husband picked it up and it was ready right on time.
We were so Thankful for this hot meal, how well it was packed up and the generous portions, everything was really good.
It was so nice not having the stress of cleaning up and we still had plenty of leftovers for everyone! Thanks Bob Evans for helping us get thru this difficult holiday.

GPS has trouble getting into the parking lot, but worth persevering. Grilled chicken pecan Cranberry salad is my go to order. I look forward to their banana nut bread and think their Colonial dressing hits the dpot.

I wanted to share my review as a recent visitor in Charleston West Virginia . We broke down in Charleston. So unfortunate…but we (husband, son and mother me) has to stay in a hotel but in walking distance to Bob Evans . The atmosphere was nice, and it was clean and staff friendly. I Didn’t remember out waitress name but she was wonderful to interact with and the food was hot and very good. They had tempting desserts and at checkout were large chocolate. Chip cookies and banana bread. So we bought one of each. The cookies were large, soft and chewy good. The banana bread was also very good. I do recommend Bob Evans restaurant and would return if we ever visit unexpectedly again. ;)) Thank you to the staff.

Thomas was such an attentive and efficient server. The food was cooked perfectly- all of it. This was the best Bob Evans experience we’ve ever had, and probably the best restaurant experience. This Bob Evans is where it’s at!

We stopped for dinner while traveling home on vacation. The food was very good and biscuits were yummy as usual.
However the wait staff here need to be reigned in! They were loud and talking across the dining room to each other! our server was talking to other staff when bringing food to us!?! Who does that? He practically dropped our drinks on the table because he was not paying attention to us at all.
For these reasons i do not recommend this restaurant.
