I used to really like Bob Evans, but the past few times I’ve gone, the experiences were mediocre at best.
On this recent visit, I went for breakfast on a weekday morning. They weren’t busy, so service was somewhat quick. The first thing I asked about on the menu came with ham and when I asked about subbing it out for sausage, my server told me there were no substitions. I found this odd, considering they supposedly make everything fresh to order.
The entrée I ultimately chose was their two biscuits meal which comes with a side of sausage gravy.
When the food came out it looked adequate, but not as appetizing as the picture in the menu. Flavors were OK, but luke warm. At least the coffee was good.
I think I’m done coming to Bob Evans Restaurants… I’ll go to IHOP or Wafflehouse next time.

Meet some friend for brunch, one person order lunch while the rest of us had breakfast. Their burger took longer at lease 15 minutes longer after we got our food and when I saw it was a pre-made patty that was ridiculous. I had the steak tip omelet and it had two pieces of steak. If these business don’t do better then they need to go out of business. The waitress was ok. The place wasn’t full and she took awhile to come back to fill our water glasses.

Came on Christmas Eve and they were handling a large party and the holiday travel rush very well.
I had one of the Griddle Stackers, which was a perfect portion at an affordable price.
Only potential issue was the bowl of fruit which was only blueberries and apples, and the blueberries were quite squishy and not tasty.
Staff was friendly and attentive, despite the crowd.

Visited 4/5/25 the service was okay. I got the $5.99 mini sampler. I didn’t like the eggs. No matter how much salt/ pepper I used. The main course was the grilled pecan salad. It was great! The other meal was the single meat pancake platter. It was good too. The eggs & sausage was cooked right. Loved the huge pancakes

However the dinner i ordered the fish Platter was the BIGGEST waste off money

We’ve been coming here for years, mostly during snow storms as a tradition. The breakfast was fantastic and the service was great. I was craving pancakes and would normally think of a competitor, but Bob Evans delivered. Probably the best pancakes I’ve had in years. I was hungry and ate too much 🙂

If you don’t know Missy Simpson, you are in for a treat. She sold me a Bob Evans hat when she worked at the Bob Evans that used to be by Kings Dominion. So 10 years later, as I pass through on my way home, something compelled me to google nearest Bob Evans. But I didn’t want to wait & saw “Bob Evans- this exit”- swerve across 4 lanes rather carefully; following signs to this location. To my surprise, she remembered me. She just got in a shipment of new hats. I’ve considered modifying it, but I don’t want to upset too many folks that live by their feelings. So I’ll keep it an “unmodified” Bob Evans hat, okay. Missy- I’ll see your wonderful face next time I pass through.

Bought one of their Thanksgiving family dinners. They forgot the cranberry sauce and there wasn’t enough turkey for 6. Thankfully there was enough ham. The rest of the meal items were plentiful and tasty. Love Bob Evans dinner rolls!

This is a good Bob Evan’s location. I’ve been here for breakfast and dinner multiple times. The staff is always friendly and polite. The prices are low compared to other restaurants in the area. I highly recommend their Rise and Shine burger. The patty was cooked and seasoned well. The eggs, bacon, beef patty, and hasbrown all complimented each other very well. My wife got the southwest avocado chicken. The chicken was very juicy, but it could’ve used more seasoning and salt. The chicken noodle soup was tastless. I don’t recommend it. Overall, this location is good, and I will gladly go there again.

I ordered the 2 for $25 meal deal thru Grubhub. One dinner was the sirloin tips. This is what I got. 3 pieces of steak maybe, some shriveled up mushrooms and barely any onions.
