The staff here was really courteous and great and patient. There were six of us and we got there about an hour before they closed, but they still gave us great service. The cashier didn’t even get mad at me even when I changed my order, after she had already taken my first order. We were still there at closing time, because we had not finished our food. They did not rush us out. They just cleaned up around us.

I ordered Chicken fried steak and eggs for breakfast today. My funny story is I went to cut my CFS and didn’t notice I had my knife blade up and the dull side of the knife cut it like butter. Sooo tender! The cook today gave us as perfect a breakfast as you could get. And our waitress is the dearest lady. She is so attentive and doesn’t miss a thing. Thanks, Bob’s LaVale. Sublime! Edit: Back at Bob’s today. You know you’re in a great place when the staff gives hugs to customers. Witnessed a sweet moment today.

They must be blindly working on something above the ceilings and have left ceiling tiles lifted. This has been there for days with no workers in sight. This is allowing very cold air down through, almost feels like a cold breeze. Had to move tables.

The highlight of the visit was the server who was friendly and attentive. Beyond that not much to commend this restaurant. There was a considerable delay in getting our food which was mediocre at best: French toast was barely warm and was mushy, turkey was closer to deli than carved, salad was so so, and biscuits seemed like they had been sitting under the heat lamp for a while. We were hungry so we ate what was served, and we did receive a 20% discount for our wait which was greatly appreciated, but we’ll make another dining choice when passing through Cumberland again.

The looks of the food may mislead you, but these meals were really delicious. I had the rise and shine burger and my wife got the hot chicken dinner while we split some chili cheese fries. Our waitress, Maddie, was really friendly and sweet. She made sure our food was correct and that we were satisfied.

The breakfast food was awesome the donner food not so much. The service was absolutely wonderful!! It was so cold in the restaurant my wife and I was shivering, the kids probably would have been if they hadn’t had sweatshirts on…… the apple pie ala mode had to have the smallest scoop of ice cream i have ever paid $1 for (see photo)!!!!

Myself and a friend came in on a Saturday afternoon. It was a little busy and they only had two servers that I saw but we still were waited on quickly. Our waitress Bri was very kind! There was an issue with my turkey dinner. It was a little dry and I thought the portion size was small so my waitress brought over the manager on duty, Payton. She was very kind and fixed the issue no questions asked. Even though initially the food didn’t meet my standards it was a swift recovery. I will 100% be back in the future!

An excellent simple family lunch. Staff was super busy but also very attentive to us. The food was typical Bob Evans but it was hot and tasty. We ordered the Fried Chicken, pancakes, and the Southwest avocado chicken dinner. We topped it off with a delicious Reese’s pie. Overall a very pleasant experience
