timey diner which I enjoy myself. The waitress I had was super attentive and knew the menu before I could even finish my sentences. The food was made in adequate time for how many people were there. Temperature of the food was good, portion size was satisfying. For the amount of diner-style places I have been to, this place is on the lighter side of hitting the flavors but that could be good for some people. Overall I enjoyed the food and soaking in the time period experience this place is trying to convey.

We’re in town for a marathon and a fellow runner suggested this diner for breakfast. Food was delicious or portions were large enough to share. The staff was very friendly too! We had the Chicken Fried Steak with home fries and toast. Plus we added one pancake and bacon.

It was a snowy Sunday morning, friendly staff greeted us at the door, and we were quickly seated. I had scrambled eggs, scrapple, & potatoes. Hubby had an omelet, grits, & pancake. The waiter was fast and the food arrived quickly. It’s a cute diner atmosphere and our food was OK.

The server was polite but was very impatient when taking my order.
I was disappointed that the chef didn’t speak English.
Ordered home fries and was surprised that they charged extra for onions and peppers SMH
I’ve never visited an establishment that charge extra for onions inside your home fries but I guess that’s Bob & Edith’s way.

Standard dinner fare, for a cheap and quick meal, serving all the standards and classics. Had meatloaf with mashed potatoes and gravy. Good strong coffee. Service was good.

My mom and I were in the area for 4 days, and passed by Bob & Edith’s several times throughout our trip. We decided to stop in for our last meal out and we’re SO glad that we did! The atmosphere was great, and the food was PHENOMENAL!! Literal Chefs Kiss My mom had the Club and I had the Country Fried Steak breakfast. STRONGLY recommend Bob & Ediths!

Absolutely wonderful food. Large servings and many options. My husband and I were able to split this Chili Cheeseburger omelet, house fries, and toast for $16 all together

This is a low key place with consistently good food and reasonable prices. I love that it’s close, open 24 hours a day, and has my favorite—half smoke. This isn’t the place for that special someone, but if you want a place to go in the middle of the night with friends for good food, then it’s your place. The service is what you would expect for somewhere like this, but it’s fair. Servers are friendly and get your orders right, which is a plus. As mentioned, my favorite here (and literally the only thing I’ve ever ordered or eaten here; it’s great) is the half smoke sausage, which I usually have with fries. This last time I asked for the fries to be extra crispy and they were perfect. My wife had a tuna melt with hash browns, and son a patty melt.
