I had an opportunity to visit the boathouse restaurant on Winona Lake with a party of 12. The food was amazing, the staff was a attentive, and the food delivered quickly for the size of our party. I ordered the Pasta Rustica and it was absolutely amazing. The alfredo sauce was on point and combined with the smoked ham really set this dish apart. I have never had a pasta dish where I had toppings out last the noodles in the dish and I enjoyed eating a pile of chicken, smoked ham, and shrimp after I had finished the noodles. That’s a first time for me. The restaurant has a wide variety of offerings that all looked very good from pizza to steak to salmon and burrito bowls. Definitely recommend going and choosing one of these things. You will not be disappointed.

I really enjoyed the atmosphere. The view was amazing . The waitress was great as well . The appetizers were good and dinner was average The only complaint I had was the angel hair pasta didn’t have much flavor .

We have eaten lunch and dinner there many times and have never been disappointed. We seldom wait long to get a table, and if we do wait, we are seated within ten minutes. The booths, tables, and seats along the lake are always clean and comfortable. You will really enjoy eating here and it is wonderful to date or celebrating life events.

I got the Chicken with Mushroom Cream Sauce. It was very flavorful, but the chicken could have been a bit more tender and I didn’t like the green beans at all. Everyone else enjoyed their food and the desserts are spectacular. The ambience is romantic and beautiful. The service was awesome! We had a table of 9 and she was always on it. Very nice dinner out!

I have Celiac’s and am on a strict gluten free diet and discussed it with the waiter. He assured me that the Asian salad was gluten free including the tortilla strips. I became ill shortly after and have been sick all weekend which was my long weekend off of work. I wanted to go to the movies but was unable to leave home. Very disappointing! I have eaten here before years before with no issue. It’s a beautiful restaurant. It wasn’t busy.

We went to The Boathouse for dinner on New Year’s Eve. We didn’t have a reservation but they were able to seat us quickly. Service was fantastic and all our meals were amazing! I had the pretzel crusted walleye (without the sauce) and I was very impressed. One of the best walleye dishes I’ve had. Also, the spinach queso appetizer was delicious and the chips were fresh and homemade. Definitely a great experience!!
