EDITED June 7, 2024: Again, this is a wonderful restaurant to dine at. Proven quality year after year. I thought I’d need to adjust my past review, but thrilled that it only got better. Our waitress, Julia, was exceptionally well trained and knowledgeable, personable and attentive!! KUDO’s to management.
Great location, rain or shine. One of the best riverside tiki bars, firepit/beach, dockside and indoor dining ….. and bar on the Hudson. Service is attentive and pleasant… food is commendable.

This place is awesome! For any meal at any time. My 2 and I went the day after it opened for the season, We sat on the patio (right on the river with relaxing views) and brought the dog, he loved it. For apps we split the margarita pizza, a doz steamers, and calamari. The calamari was probably the best calamari I’ve had in the 518, it was crispy and fresh, and the dipping sauce it came it with was like a sweet and sour chili sauce and it complimented the octopus nicely. For my meal I had the quinoa salad, and again it was the best I’ve had in this area (big big salad fan).the service was amazing everyone was kind and working hard. I always tell friends about this place because it never disappoints!!!!

This past season was way too short. The live music and food are still in my mind as it snows. This is the place you want to put on your just go list for spring. They keep this spotless, half of their kitchen is open to view while the make the most delish food. So they are closed for the winter but keep an eye out in spring and just go there. You will love it.

My better half and I wanted to get out of the house and eat dinner on the water. A quick google search and we found ourselves here at the Boathouse Grill. We reserved a table on the deck outside. Walking in the atmosphere was beautiful. We were sat quickly and our waitress Alisha was quick and friendly bringing water right over to us. We ordered fairly quickly and ordered a bottle of Moscato and appetizers. The spinach and artichoke dip was not horrible. I enjoy a little more of a thicker consistency but to each their own. It was more of a thick soup with pita chips with broiled parm on top. Street corn was delicious. We ordered the Prime rib special Medium rare and Chicken Piccata for entree. We enjoyed our view while waiting an appropriate amount of time for our entrees to arrive. When dinner was served we knew right away the prime rib was not going to be all that great. It was well done and the ajuú was watery. The mashed potatoes were runny and sticky. Like a pudding consistency. It was supposed to come with mixed veggies… green beans it is. No flavor at all! Chicken piccata was good and cooked well. Again green beans were very plain. The entertainment was a 3 piece “band”. Drums guitar and xylophone. Weird for a Friday night. For a $125 check plus adding a tip we were a little disappointed. If we were to rerun it would be for some mixed drinks, beer and the pizza that looked delicious on the table behind us. Maybe a late afternoon lunch. Kiddos to the server for offering to get a new piece of prime rib but we are not really the type to send things back. Alisha was a great waitress!

Great views, service and food. Really liked the ahi tuna nachos, tuna was done perfectly, the bangin shrimp had a little kick which wasn’t over powering. It’s a very scenic area with nice view of the Hudson, fun to watch boat traffic and all kinds on the river.

Love this place ! Wife and I have been going there 3 or 4 times during the summer months for the past 10 years or so. Sometimes with guests. Out on the deck or under the awning great views. Good food (Try the “Bangin Shrimp appetizer”), Friendly wait staff. We have them take our picture every year to add to our memories. On our way there now with friends.

Being from further South, to me this place is a little known treasure; likely it is very well known be locals and the yachting crew. There is fine indoor dining, but there is covered and uncovered deck dining directly on the Hudson as well. The menu is larger than expected, and the food has always been good (I stop here on road trips and coming back home from northern places). The service is prompt, friendly and polite.
This is a favorite escape of mine despite the distance from home. I think you and your friends or family will like it too.
