This place needs to get its act together when it comes to karaoke. They advertise it as an event on their website only to cancel it at the last minute, REPEATEDLY. They didn’t seem to have a problem last summer when they scheduled karaoke every week without fail, attracting a good crowd. But they can’t get it together now. If they’re not going to follow through, they should just stop advertising it as an event.

*I was in Nice just house-sitting for a friend, and the Boathouse was across the street.
The staff there was so friendly and fun, and they treated me like I belonged there.
The pizza is better than anything I have found in Oregon, delicious crust and tons of toppings…truly a great pizza if you’re HUNGRY, and want pizza.
The bar is filled with wonderful locals and the best staff ever, and all of them make you feel apart of their scene. You are welcomed with warmth and smiles.
Then you walk out back to the wonderful lake-side dining/ live music/ dog-friendly/ lake side park atmosphere. Totally unexpected and wonderful as well. The band was great, the dogs were great, and the experience was amazing.
(Thank you, both Boathouse staff & locals for making me feel at home while I was a stranger in your world.)
They all made me feel welcome and safe while I was there, and I have zero doubt that anyone would feel differently.

I had a really wonderful night here. We sat on the patio out back facing the water.
Beautiful view, a cute local kitty and overall good spot out in the cuts for a nice view and bite to eat. I got the taco salad and i cant remember what my friends got. But there were good french friend and lots of cold drinks… perfect after a day out in the hot sun.
I am giving 5 stars for what it is. Solid. Its nothing fancy, not fine dining.. if that’s what you’re looking for. But the atmosphere was really what we needed and I’m really glad we chose to come here… even ended up staying till the sun went down.

We had to stop for food on a super long car ride with three tired , grumpy kids all under 6 . We were treated so kindly by all the staff even with kids making noise and fussing . The food was great and we tried a little of everything but the sweet potato fries were stand out . It seems like the whole staff cares about the restaurant and the people who visit it ( even when you are not a local!!) if we ever drive through Nice again we will be revisiting

The staff is very nice and friendly and the place is clean. Full bar with a pool table, indoor dining and outdoor seating available. While in town for the weekend we ate here twice as it was the only place within walking distance. The food was delicious and the Lumpia appetizers are yummy! Cheeseburgers are 50% beef & 50% pork, a nice twist. 2nd nite I had the steak boathouse tacos and they were tasty! Stop in and enjoy the warm welcoming and good food and drink.

Most excellent food and service. Had the rib-eye steak, cooked to perfection and my wife had the pan seared rock cod. Our new regular spot. Owner/cook Cathy is awesome! Update: returned 7 years later and the change isn’t good. New owners have a burger and pizza menu and service is lacking. Unfortunately I can’t recommend this place anymore
