This is a terrible food location. Thank god for the view.

Staff is nothing extraordinary, particularly slow. Food is so bad, i’ve never had a ceviche being so blend and a steak sandwich look that sad. It was unappetizing and the taste wasn’t better at all.

On my steak sandwich the tomato was still green no cheese or sauce, just a 2oz flank steak tanderized. Worse than any mcdonalds butger. I will never set foot here again.

I don’t usually write bad reviews because everyone’s experience varries but damn, this was sad. I paid 29$ for a ceviche and steak sandwich. The day prior I had gone to gramps and had a 10x better experience and food.

This is not the first time we come to eat here. We used to live in Key Biscayne so we’d seek the waterview experience once in a while. We never came here for the food, it was never a great cuisine. But now it’s beyond “not great”, it’s literally inedible. It’s really unfortunate because the potential to have an amazing restaurant at this location is infinite.
I sent my food back and did not order anything else as I was afraid it would be just as bad since my family’s order was not good either.
I called the manager to gently give him a piece of my mind in respect to the cuisine and the potential they have but his answer was that their cook was not good! It is nevertheless an expensive restaurant. I would be ok paying prime but for food that at least tasted good and was cooked right!
Don’t waste your money here, come for a drink to enjoy the view before of after eating somewhere else.

I have been coming to this place for maybe 25 yrs and love the atmosphere , the food is always tasty and my favorite waiter is still there. However I can no longer get past the price point. The market price for a fried whole Hogfish was $80.00 just for the fish. Two beers, 1 fried fish, with fries , a dixie cup of white fish ceviche , plus tip was almost $200.00 for lunch. Its a nostalgic place for me but Im done at those prices, Id honestly rather go to the Rusty Pelican or Joe’s which offers lower or similar prices at this point. I get boaters pay anything as I had a boat for 20 yrs and it was always expensive but this is absurd at these prices. It will be a very longtime before I go back if at all, its just not worth the long lines for what you get and the price you pay. Im assuming if it was cheaper the line would be a block long so they set their price and dont care what folks like me think, but for me Im sadly out at this point . Cheers

We recently had dinner at Boater’s Grill with a group of six and spent around $430. Overall, the experience was very enjoyable. The service was attentive and friendly, and the waterfront view was absolutely stunning — a perfect setting for a relaxed evening.

The food was generally good and portions were generous. However, the lobster was a major letdown. On a scale of 0 to 10, it was a 0 — it tasted as if it had been sitting in the fridge too long and lacked freshness entirely. That aside, the rest of the dishes were well-prepared and satisfying.

Boater’s Grill is definitely worth visiting for the ambiance and overall experience, but I’d recommend skipping the lobster.

Very nice place by the bay. Service was fast, waiters were helpful, and the food was good.

We were seated on the outdoor patio, where a fan was blowing directly on me at full force. I politely asked the waiter if it could be turned down or redirected, and he refused, saying it was for the entire patio which made no sense, considering there were multiple fans and an AC unit. The response was rude and dismissive, and sitting there was extremely uncomfortable.
I also ordered blackened mahi-mahi, but received regular grilled mahi-mahi with minimal seasoning, and it was very dry. However I was too hungry and with too many other people to return
Between the poor service and disappointing food, I wasn’t surprised to see that this place has only a 3.8 star rating. It seems I’m not the only one who was unhappy with the service food or both.

We arrived for dinner shortly after sunset and were seated promptly. The food was delicious and served quickly. The prices were reasonable, and it certainly didn’t feel like a tourist trap. The ambiance was a little loud for our preference, but the view and the tasty food made it worthwhile. I highly recommend it!

We liked the location but the food is terrible. The paella was nearly $50, it was so salty and watery, I left most of it on my plate. We also got the grilled mahi mahi which was over grilled and rubbery. Don’t waste your money here.

This is a little hidden gem located inside the Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park. To enter the park you have to pay $8 for car parking. The place has awesome mesmerizing views of the bay. The pictures don’t do it justice. The menu has something for everyone. Obviously the fish would be my first recommendation. Staff is friendly. Overall cool spot.

Food was great but waiters could care less abt the business. Too bad as this place is a gem. Super fresh seafood and terrific fries. Located at the end of the cove in No Name harbor.

Tip: instead of paying the $8 landing fee for lunch along the seawall, go to the end, right under the restaurant and there are a couple slips where you can stay for up to 2 hrs. for free.

If you don’t have a boat, you can park in the lot there.

Bathrooms are super clean. (On a Tuesday☺️)
