The food here was delicious and the portions were sufficient, the staff were friendly. I liked the shrimp Molukhia but I think the shrimp should have been bigger. We liked the salsa they made the eggplant with and they were kind enough to pack some of it for us to take home. Overall I highly recommend this place.

Today I visited Diera Waterfront for some weekend shopping and there after we decided to have a seafood dinner at the Boat Restaurant.
I haven’t visited the Boat earlier and the weather and outside seating attracted me though. The guy stood over there welcomed us and invited to have a seat. Overall good and having a fresh seafood market nearby me and wife decided to have a nice sea food dinner tonight.
All was spoiled in next 15 – 25 mins as we are waiting to place the order and the stupid staffs are not even bother to give an eye contact to ask us wether we decided. After first 15 mins I asked the guy welcomed me to ask to take the order, his smile and interpretation focusing the other bunch made me clear he is not promted to a waiter to take the orders. Still waited another 10 mins and this time I was specific in checking what they are doing. Running pointlessly and greeting and talikng each other and standing in some corner or with the guy in the front. This is something worst I ever saw in 4 years of UAE life.
When we start to walk oit the guy who welcomed us pointed us indicate we are walking out to one waiter and he didn’t even care. For a customer who is visiting for the first time, leave the food atleast basic manners is required. I wonder it is in Dubai itself.
Once again the worst restaurant experience ever in Dubai. Never going to visit there ever.

Quick lunch, was recommended baked crab which was nice but a bit heavy on the cheese. Grilled fish Seabass was excellent with nice marinade. The dips amd hot bread which are complimentary were amazing, specially the eggplant one.
