The location is spectacular and the wait staff are very friendly. The food that we had started out great. We shared the baked brie with raspberry drizzle on fresh apples. It was amazing. But after that the quality of the food declined steadily. My dinner salad had been refrigerated so long that the leaves were very chewy. The tomatoes had ice crystals in them and the dressing was good tasting but there wasn’t much of it. My dinner of the bruschetta chicken was very well prepared and it was very delicious. But my baked potato was grey from age and served so cold that it didn’t melt the butter. I would like to give them another chance to show some improvement, but I am heading home tomorrow.

Went here today with my family, for a late lunch. Sitting outside was very nice with a large umbrella over our table and the breeze from the lake. The wait staff were SUPERB. Friendly, polite, attentive, helpful to one another, pleasant to speak to and knowledgable about the menu. I’d recommend this place on the quality of service, alone.
As for the food, Prices were fine, although we felt that the portions were a bit on the smaller side, though not insufficient. The cocktails were very yummy and the bottle and tap beer selection was pretty standard with a decent selection. The crab cakes were solid, if somewhat one note flavor wise. The teriyaki wings were very good and crispy, and my burger was juicy and flavorful, even if it was a bit past the medium rare that I ordered. My wife and mother had the teriyaki salmon and raved over it. All-in-all, a very enjoyable experience with good food and drinks served by an incredible staff!

I’ve been here a few times for lunch. The service is great and the gardens are beautiful. I do recommend you get a reservation ahead of time because outdoor seating is limited. The parking is a little tight right in front but they have more parking on the side. The interior decor has a cozy cottage yet sophisticated feel. Would definitely recommend going there

I enjoy the boathouse. It was a favorite of my parents as well. One passed away and we just recently went back. The food and service were great as usual but I will say the menu changed to a minimalist menu and the prices have clearly gone up. I was surprised how much when the bill arrived. I looked at my dinners price but not everyone’s. So I recommend the food and service but be prepared for a raise in prices.

It was a lovely restaurant inside with a beautiful lake view. I had a salad that was great but just had a little too much cheese than I expected. My husband had the prime rib sandwich which he said was alright. It’s a cozy atmosphere with friendly service that took good care of a group of us 8.

My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful meal at the Boat House. It was our first meal there as I’ve only been in the area for a little over a year. My wife enjoyed the duck while I feasted on a wonderfully prepared pork chop, both exceeding all expectations. The mushroom/brie soup was a happy choice for me and the flavor pallet complimented my meal selection. A very good waiter and the beautiful environment make for a terrific dining experience.
