I always pass by and the place is so busy. I decided to stop in and I found out why. Food is delicious, staff and customers are friendly. The live music is a huge bonus. And if you haven’t tried the Philly cheesesteak, you’re missing out. I will be back for sure!

This is the third time I have been to “my local bar.” Each time it is the same. Bartender looks past me to wait on the 5 men seated at the bar (I’m assuming they are regulars,) they all have drinks and I’m sitting there waiting for my carry out I ordered 20 minutes prior. The bartender ignores me until taking care of her “regulars” (btw, I’m a server and tip well.) I did not want to hang out at the bar and that’s why I preordered my food to go. I was told 15 minutes and arrived at that time. Unfortunately, they hadn’t even started my food. The young lady cooking my food appeared to be intoxicated and the bartender was no help. So I waited 15 minutes (now 35 from ordering) for them to finally approach me. After another 20 minutes I finally got my food. They charged me full price for 2 pieces of fish and onion rings (which should’ve been a meal) and I also got southwest chicken eggrolls. The fish was delish! The rest was inedible.

Everything we ordered was delicious, the service was great, and the view was very beautiful!! We will be back, and I definitely recommend trying them out! My bf ordered the pork rinds and ended up getting a second order, they were sooo good and came out fresh and sizzling! The jumbo shrimp was delicious, the onion rings were perfect, my fish sandwich was amazing too! I’m very happy we stopped in!

Exactly as the name implies, you can drive up to the bar in your boat. Definitely bring your own bumpers though because the dock had some potential scratch points. Food was pretty good and has potential to he even better. The cook was on point but the one who assembled the veggies just kinda tossed on the stuff in a funny way. The pickles were floppy but reminded me of old times getting the pickles from the high-school cafeteria. Decently roasted buns with good pub style fries. Bring your own condiments cause their mayo packets have some wild ingredients inside.

The service from the bartenders is always delightful. There is a mix of folks passing through and regulars, but it’s a comfortable place as a traveler. There are events that draw quite the crowd, but the food and service is what keeps me coming back and bringing new people with me. This is a mandatory stop any time I pass through Ortonville on my bike.
