Our founder Chris Tallarico, created Boardwalk Subs with the intention to deliver quality subs with the freshest of ingredients at a reasonable price. Hailing from Lansing, Chris’ past experience in customer service and the restaurant industry was a perfect recipe for a classic, quality and consistent product made with families in mind. Our desire is for Boardwalk to be a place where coworkers, teammates, friends and families can share a delicious meal together without breaking the bank. Really good subs. Everything tasted fresh, and the bread was soft but not soggy. They load it up pretty well, and the staff was nice and quick. The place was clean and had a good vibe. I’ll definitely be back. Shout out to my girly Ciara for hooking me up with the goods!

While visiting Grand Rapids I visited the one on Seward way and it was one of my BEST lunches during my visit!!! Extremely clean and staff was AWESOME! That shows good management to be happy at your job! After meeting the Manager I can see why!!!! Food was DELICIOUS and fresh! Thank you for make my lunch such a wonderful experience during my visit! Wouldn’t make our sandwiches roque even though the panini press was still on at 7:15. Ladies were clearly in a rush to get out of there asap. Tipped 20% still even though that’s extremely disappointing. Asked the cashier twice to make sure our whole subs were cut and wrapped in halves each please. Came back to get our subs and she’s wrapping the whole thing up. I know good helps hard to find next time we won’t be stopping at that location. Not impressed which is unfortunate because your sandwich’s are the best in the city. $45 for 2 subs and terrible service.

Had my most frustrating experience at the place earlier today before 11.Placed my order, behind me was a young man that came in for a pick up the worker explained to him his order said it would not be ready until 11:30. They still proceeded to make his first, then mine. Which whatever things happen. My sandwich was made and sitting on the counter while the worker proceeded to make the next two orders and a fly continued landing on my order. By the time the worker even realized I was still waiting for my order 20 minutes had gone by. I was bringing it for my daughter’s lunch and couldn’t wait for anything to be remade. For being a $20 sandwich service was poor.
