Food was great, the service was great, the view was great, and the atmosphere was great. We got cheeseburgers and French fries, kids penne and sauce (spaghetti), calamari, and onion rings. It was alllll good. I really like the calamari. The calamari was cooked perfectly and nice and tender. The onion rings were ok. The onion rings have real onions but the batter was a bit too thick so they were a little chewier then expected but still ok.

I”ve been debating whether or not to post this review. I’m a frequent visitor to Hampton Beach but had never been to the Boardwalk before, so I decided to try it. It was at the end of the season last September. I was alone so I sat at the bar. The bartender was great and the food was good. So why one star? I was struggling with a medical issue at the time which made it difficult to eat, so I was taking my time and eating very slowly. I excused myself to use the restroom twice during my meal. The second time, an employee, I’m guessing a manger because he wasn’t waiting tables or taking care of customers, watched me come out of the restroom. He followed me to the bar and asked me if there was a problem. I told him no problem, I’m just trying to finish my meal. This man then sat on a stool a few feet behind me, and watched me the entire time I was there, which wasn’t much longer. I was so uncomfortable I paid my tab and left without finishing my dinner or my first beer. I wish I had gotten his name, but he was short, balding (or shaved head) and had a beard. I won’t be back, which I’m sure won’t upset them too much since I had never been there before, but I’ve never been treated so poorly. I was polite, sober, and quietly minding my own business. It wasn’t busy since it was the end of the season, so it’s not like they needed the one seat I was occupying, so I’m not sure what the issue was other than that this gentleman has no business working in the hospitality industry.

Just had the most incredible surf and turf experience with steak tips and lobster! The steak was perfectly seasoned, juicy, and grilled to perfection, while the lobster was tender and rich, complementing the beef beautifully. Each bite was a delightful mix of flavors and textures. The food was good and the service was great.
This place was very busy when we went there, and we were seated promptly in our food or out fairly quickly. We did not have to wait to sit at a table, but I could see it getting busy enough where this could happen.
If you go here, plan on just walking and leaving your car wherever you are staying as parking could be tough.

Nice place to grab a meal with open air and three tier level seating with ocean views. Great for people watching. Menu is American staples, Seafood and pasta dishes. Good healthy options too. I had the Greek salad and added delicious steak tips.
Staff was friendly and in this new reality wore masks, changed gloves between every interaction with customers. Tables sanitized between customers use.
Full bar service is available and tasty appetizers if you are looking for something quick.

Went to grab a quick bite before attending a concert at Oceanfront Ballroom with George Thorogood & The Destroyers. Appetizers were Half off we when went. I had the Teriyaki Chicken Wings and a Small Bowl of New England Clam Chowder (highly recommend) and my friend had Lobster Rangoons! They too were delicious! Disappointing and Inconsistent Pet Policy – Rude Staff
I’ve dined at this restaurant twice just last week, both times sitting outside with my dog (proof see image). There were also other customers there with their dogs. Before my most recent visit, I even called ahead to confirm that bringing my dog would be okay – I was told it wouldn’t be a problem for outdoor seating.
But when I arrived, I was abruptly told dogs are not allowed. After driving all the way there based on the information I was given, I was understandably confused. To make matters worse, the waiter was incredibly rude about it. No apology, no explanation – just attitude.
This kind of inconsistent policy and poor customer service is unacceptable. At first, i thought it would be my go-to restaurant here. I won’t be returning, and I’d advise other pet owners to think twice before making the trip.

I have to say it been years since I ate here! Much to my delight it was amazing! Nate was my waiter! He paid attention to details and I didn’t have to ask for anything! The food was fresh and savory! I actually got a to go order for lunch for the next day, because I was so pleased! I usually eat at a restaurant starting with the name Sea! I will refer all my local business to THE BOARDWALK CAFE!
