Boardwalk Cafe is one of my favorite restaurants during the week! I usually go in for lunch and always have great service and food! The staff is great! I like the small town tight knit feel it has making it feel warm and welcoming. 100% would recommend!!

We tried this place out on Valentines Day in the evening. It’s a cute place and surprisingly, wasn’t crowded. It was also conveniently located near our hotel. We told my brother and sister-in-law who happen to live close to Peru about it so maybe they along with my nieces will check it out some time.

Usually the salads are the best in town but today they must have been running out of lettuce and other vegetables because this salad was the worse I’ve even seen come out of this place. For a $14 salad you would expect a great salad. Not today. Hopefully better next time.

We stopped in for a late lunch. My wife and I shared the Mediterranean Pizza. We changed it a bit by adding chicken, removed the onions and replaced the garlic butter with marinara sauce. That pizza was amazing. The kids had their chicken strips, which were great, but as soon as they saw our pizza, they wanted some pizza too. Boy, it was good. My step-mother had the Italian sandwich. It was also great. Not only was the food so good, but the service was equally amazing. I will definitely bring my family here again each time we visit Peru. Thanks for the great experience!

WOW as a military veteran who has eaten all over world and US these Grinders are absolutely legit. And the value is phenomenal, cheaper than most chain fast foods in Peru. The service made it even better. My wife and I will eat here before any fast food chain in town! Again WOW

We had a party of 8, including a one-year-old. Before we could even order, a lady asked if we were all together and offered to put tables together for us. The service was very friendly and efficient. The food was delicious and the prices were incredibly reasonable. Every order was accurate, which is wonderful when you have picky eaters among the group. Their breadsticks are the best.

Hadn’t been here in a while and stopped in today for a bite and to grab something for supper. They’re 16 in subs are definitely more than enough for two meals. I got a Stromboli and barely was able to finish half of it. Was really glad I ordered the second though for supper. Also got a small salad and garlic bread with cheese.
If you like really good bread for sandwiches or the garlic bread. This is definitely the place to go. All made in house and has a unique texture and flavor. That being said, I am not a big fan of their stromboli’s. They aren’t quite traditional in their making and I could do with a little less of their sauce. It’s really good on the pizzas but on sandwiches it has a tendency to soggy them up just a bit

We visited from out of town for lunch and heard this place was under new management so we gave it a shot. Overall we couldn’t think of a better lunch stop. The cafe was clean. Service was fast and friendly. However, the best part was how absolutely delicious the food was. We got the steak grinder. It was awesome and I eat out a lot in the Carmel/Indy area. The bread was insanely delicious. I would highly recommend this place. We will be back.
