Milkshakes are nice and thick. Burgers are tasty but classic deluxe doesn’t come with pickles. A burger place that doesn’t include pickles??? The mushroom burger was really good. Fries are frozen, not fresh. No vinegar for the fries either. Again, a burger place in Canada that doesn’t have vinegar???? Overall just ok.

On a recent visit to Boardwalk Burgers, I had the pleasure of being served by very nice girl .today around 2:00 PM, and she was the sole employee on duty. From the moment we walked in, she greeted us with a warm and genuine smile, making us feel instantly welcome.
Despite the obvious pressure of managing the entire restaurant by herself, she remained composed and efficient. Her customer service skills were truly exceptional; she was attentive, patient, and went above and beyond to ensure every customer felt valued. She took our orders with a smile, answered our questions about the menu, and handled everything with remarkable grace.
The food was outstanding. Every dish was prepared with care, and the flavors were fantastic. It’s clear that she takes pride in her work, and it shows in the quality of the food and the overall dining experience. Her ability to manage all aspects of the restaurant—taking orders, cooking, serving, and cleaning—while maintaining such a high level of service is truly commendable.

What was supposed to be a simple, happy family meal turned into an exhausting and deeply upsetting experience.
I placed an online order with Broadwalk Burgers because my daughter wanted a milkshake, and the restaurant appeared to offer halal burgers and drinks. I ordered from the Calgary Trail location and spent $104, receiving a text message saying my order was being prepared.
When I called the store to confirm, I was told they had no record of my order at all. Instead of help, I was met with suspicion. The woman on the phone questioned whether I was even a legitimate customer, saying I might be a scammer. In that moment, I felt embarrassed, and accused—despite having proof that I placed the order.
Shortly after, a manager called and said there had been a problem but that I could come pick up the order. Then another worker called and told me to place the order again verbally, assuring me it would be free since they had not recived any payment. By this point, I was already overwhelmed and anxious. I had placed a large order and, under pressure, forgot several smaller details-whipped cream on a shake, extra sauces, and a larger item -wings.
When I arrived at the restaurant, I saw an in-store bill totaling $75, which confused me further. The manager—who was not physically present—told me over the phone that I had received all my items and that prices vary between online and in-store orders. He also repeated that the order was “on him,” since they claimed no payment had been received.
Throughout the interaction, the staff made me feel like a burden—as if I were asking for charity rather than receiving food I had paid for. Their tone suggested they were doing me a favor, not correcting their own system failure.
When I got home, I discovered a Coke can and one medium fries missing from one of the combo meals. The food was cold. Items incomplete. What should have been a comforting family dinner ended in chaos, confusion, and humiliation.
The most disturbing part is that their website is still live when writing this review and accepting payments, despite not properly recording orders. This isn’t just inconvenient—it’s irresponsible.
This experience was genuinely stressful and upsetting. I will not be returning.

Overall great food and customer service. The burger was fresh, the fries as well. The price point is also good. A meal with a burger, fries and a drink for $17!! Not bad especially in this economy.

Burgers weren’t bad. I got the classic today. I’d give it a 6.5/10. Pattie was good, buns were thick for a burger, not much sauce in it, it definitely could have used more.
My girlfriend gave it a 4/10. She had the same comments but she enjoyed it much less than I did. So I ate her burger for her.

Burger was “ok”. Meat patty was good, bit too much garlic (at least I sensed garlic). Peanut butter Milkshake was awesome! Nice and thick and full of flavor. Onion rings were great, at least the few that I got (for the price could have gotten more).

I’ve been to Broadwalk Burgers multiple times, and it’s always a great experience. On one of my previous visits, there was a small mix-up with my order, but the front staff were super friendly and reassured me that I’d get a discount next time. I just went back today, and they went above and beyond by taking the entire poutine off my order!
The staff are always happy, smiling, and genuinely glad to help. The food is delicious, and the customer service is top-notch. I’ll definitely be coming back again!

My first time trying their food. The ambience in store was great and customer service was phenomenal. I ordered the Swiss Mushroom burger combo. Fries were your standard type – I was hoping for fresh cut fries but whatever. The burger was very tasty – well done and delicious. I did notice that there were no sauces like ketchup, mustard, mayo, etc that are put on the burger but luckily they had ketchup bottles available to use. The prices were also very fair for what you get.
