I ordered the burger and wings meal with fries. The burger was an absolute banger minus the crunchy brown artificial onions. The fries had great texture only they weren’t seasoned at all. The wings were a bit hard. They also was bland. The sauce was next to non existent. Chips and salsa was on point especially the salsa. Overall, not too bad but not good enough to put on my list as a regular go to spot. A little more attention to the food and it would be great here. The waiter was pretty decent. He was very busy with cleaning the windows, tables outside and other odd jobs. He came to my table to check on me once. My drink glass is empty. And it is not packed or crowded in here. Not a totally bad experience but when you are assigned to a customer, you may want to be more attentive or get another waiter to cover your table as you are very busy. I really can’t blame him, it’s management who should have set the toll better for him as I’m sure he was only following instructions. However I didn’t see the other waiters and waitresses busting their buts like him. Honestly I wish I could remember his name to show the credit he actually deserves. Obviously he is a great employee. Just my thoughts. Sorry for being so long winded.

Drink order/ 70% she moved a little slow. We had to remind her we had bar drinks.
Appetizer/40%, ordered the chips and dip combo, 14.99 said tons of chips and salsa and quest. Very little amount of everything definitely not tons. But we tried our best to make it stretch lol
Food order/ 85% she came as soon as she could I noticed, however her tone indicated she was a little overwhelmed and rushing.
Check back/ 60% none
Pre bus/ 0% no pressure bussing
Thanks and come back/ 0% none
Wew were sat in the party room. It was anabsolutely beautiful room. Id come back just for the room, tvs had no sports package to watch the Panthers game .
Well I waited tables in college, now im a nurse. I love to take the family out and always hope to have great service and food wen I spend my hard earned money.
Id definitely come back, overall we enjoyed ourselves and everyone seemed to like their food minus the appetizer.

Ordered for pickup. It was fast and easy to order. The food was hot upon pick up. I ordered seafood boil. It was tasty my only disappointment was Oysters were steamed so much it literally was not there to eat. I had bunch of potatoes and corn and would have liked more shrimp. Overall for take out I give it 4.2 Next time I’ll dine in.

First time trying Boardwalk Billy’s after living in Charlotte for years. Our group enjoyed the food and service! We all tried the Pick Two BBQ plate which was a huge portion of food. The brisket and smoked spicy garlic wings were definitely a highlight for me.

We went here on a Saturday evening ( August 9th 2025) for dinner as a group of six. The place was crowded, which is expected for a weekend. However, the service left a lot to be desired.
It took about 10–15 minutes for our waitress to take the order, and then another 20 minutes (plus asking twice) before our drinks finally arrived. After that, our food order was taken, but it felt like forever before the food actually came. What made it worse was the lack of communication – no updates from the server about delays or even a simple check-in on how things were going.
On the positive side, the food itself was good . But with such slow service and no acknowledgment of the wait, the overall experience was disappointing. Since it was my first visit, I’m honestly not sure if I’d go back again.

I went here with one of my good friends on a Friday night. The ambiance of the place was very nice. They even turned the lights down lower once the sun went down.
The decorations/lights were lively and added to a pretty cool atmosphere.
I ordered the Jerk Chicken Salad and it was very tasty. I wish that I had a bigger salad because it was that good! Lol.
Our server was Matt! He was kind, polite, humorous and just an overall great server. He was very attentive to our table despite having several tables in his section and he never made us feel like we were bothering him. I wish more servers in general had his level of excellent customer service.
The only thing that I would recommend is that they add those dividers in the booth areas because you dont have much privacy with the height of all of the tables.

We had a nice time visiting this spot over the weekend — the location was lively and definitely one of the most happening places around!
The service was a highlight for us: Sydney was our server and she was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better.
The food itself was okay, not particularly memorable, but they made up for it with a good selection of alcohol options.
Overall, a fun place to hang out, especially if you’re looking for a great atmosphere and excellent service!
