Awesome vibes and great coffee. Courtney was fantastic, helped me pick out a new frappe flavor I’d never tried (red velvet cake), and was playing the most chill music (flutes!). Awesome experience for some afternoon laptop work.

Best cuban sandwich I’ve had in East Texas, and we can’t wait to come try some other sandwiches as well. I will say that it is not an authentic Cuban sandwich, but it is still done well for East Texas. They also have a nice tea/coffee selection. I recommend Texas Black Tea so far. They have a lot of games (if you are into that), and you can bring games.
An authentic Cuban sandwich typically includes Cuban bread, roasted pork, ham, Swiss cheese, dill pickles, and yellow mustard. It’s PRESSED until warm and crisp, similar to a panini. Some variations may include Genoa salami, particularly in Tampa. This one from here is not pressed, but it’s still amazing.

I genuinely wanted to love this place, as I had high hopes going in. We used to have a similar board game café in my town before COVID, so I was really excited to try this one.
Unfortunately, our first visit this past Saturday afternoon fell short. We were told the barista was backed up, but we did not expect to wait over an hour and a half for two drinks. When my latte finally arrived, it was very disappointing and tasted like watered-down drip coffee with milk. I took two sips before ultimately tossing it out.
The concept is great, and I hope this was just a one-off experience. However, the long wait paired with the quality of the drinks made for a poor first impression. Better communication and transparency about delays would have made the situation more understandable.

This was my first time going to this place. It was amazing! The food is bomb, also the coffee was really good. Thank to the barista. There are lot’s of games. Perfect way to spend time with friends, love ones or coworkers.

Our group rented a party room here. When I first arrived they said they were not taking food orders for 20 minutes, which was fine. I just sat and played games with my group. I came back in 20 minutes to order my food and they still weren’t ready. I came back 10 minutes later and they took my order but they said It was going to be a while to get the food as they were low on food items and they would have to go to the store to get them. I finally received my food 30 minutes later and was not impressed at all. The toast was burnt and scraped up the top of my mouth, and it wasn’t until the next day when I woke up with a sore stomach that I realized the food did not sit right. My stomach was tore up all the next morning. We also asked the kitchen staff to take a group photo of us and she refused saying she had an order she had to get out. The service was terrible, the food wasn’t good. If I wasn’t there with my group I wouldn’t have stayed as long as I did. I won’t be back.

Our family had a great time at Boards and Bites tonight. The proprietors are very personable and make you feel at home. The food is really good. They make a great salsa from scratch and have nice hearty sandwiches. They serve a really mean hot cocoa, too!
The game selection is outstanding. They really keep the environment clean, too. I highly recommend you try them out.

Super fun and cute place to meet with friends and have fun. They have a large variety of games and the menu is quiet big aswell. For $5 per person to play as many games as you want I would say its more than worth it. I saw a review on here that made me laugh at its absurdity. The games are the star so of course they cost money its called boards and bites after all. You cant get mad over five dollars. Very nice place!

Last month, my best friend and I went to boards and bites for the first time to relax and have a good time with the board games, while enjoying what they offer on the menu. Excited, my best friend and I ordered their cheesecake. We got our slices and enjoyed it, until just a few minutes after we left. Almost immediately, their food got us BOTH horribly sick for the rest of the week, and we haven’t gone back since. DO NOT EAT HERE!!!
