This restaurant is serving authentic Thai food. They have great menu, friendly staff, good serving size (some can be shared by 2) and overall, value for money. They also have beer!
If you are looking for an intimate spot for private conversations or date night perhaps, this could be it. The place looks old, bit dark and not accessible by wheelchair as it is found upstairs.

I have been searching years for an authentic Thai restaurant ever since our beloved Lhy Thai in Burnaby closed down. It seems I finally found it…in Vernon!
Very friendly service. Decor is tasteful and well done. But the most important part…the food was stunning. I daresay the equivalent of what I remember from Lhy Thai.
I had the Pad Gra Paow. Chicken stir fried with various veggies and basil. Purchased steamed rice separately.
The veggies were fresh, chicken was cooked perfectly and cut correctly and the flavor of sauce it was cooked in was balanced perfectly as only a true Thai chef is capable of doing. Whoever is in the kitchen knows their business, and knows it well.
Another recommendation I would give is to ask for the house made hot sauce. Perfectly tangy and spicy. Compliments the dish oh so well and does not overpower it.
I truly wish this restaurant was in the Lower Mainland where I live. If it was, I would definitely be a regular. This place should be a lot more busy for dinner than it was. It’s a true gem.

Great Thai food. Two of us had lunch specials; Gang Pak Ruammit with chicken and Pad Black Bean. We added on Chinese tea and a spring roll for an extra $3.00. Both dishes had excellent flavours! Food was fresh tasting and quick to be served. Prices for lunch were very reasonable for quantity and quality. We will definitely return to try other items on their menu.

That was a great lunch, chicken veg and rice pad with 3 pepper heat also added a couple tasty chicken satay. Really hit the spot on a chilly day. Interior is dated, kitchy and clean. Dont let the stairs up from the street scare you off having an excellent meal here. Next time, dinner.

The Boa-Thong Thai restaurant has been a Vernon staple for decades and is well loved by locals. On our last visit my girlfriend and I shared the Hang Pak Ruammit yellow Thai curry in coconut milk and coconut rice, mildly spiced and delicious. No tap beers but I always love a Singha, which reminds me of the original Heineken lager. The owners and staff are hands-on and very accommodating of any special needs of their patrons.

Tried it for the first time this evening. Got number 40. The seafood dish with coconut rice in yellow curry. It was SOOO GOOD. Spice was a nice mild but so much flavour.

Yesterday my girlfriend and I went to Boa Thong restaurant.
It is one of if not the only restaurant in all of Vernon located on the 2nd floor of a building. We got to sit by the window and watch what was going on downtown while we sat. The decor is very soothing inside. It is super clean in there.
We both ordered pad Thai. Massive portions and a HUGE vegetarian menu. Perhaps the best vegetarian menu in all of Vernon.
The food tasted really good. Both Thai restaurants in Vernon are really good!
I will definitely come back sooner rather than later.
The whole staff is super friendly! It took me 20+ years to try this place and will definitely be back much quicker!
