The ribs are to die for and the jerk chicken wings are awesome. The coleslaw was fresh crisp and the taste was excellent. The service was good friendly courteous and prompt. The pulled pork has an original taste that keeps you coming back for more.
Famous restaurant food for a modest price.

This is the most disgusting place we have ever eaten at. Everything was filthy. Sticky tables, floors, and menus. The floors were absolutely horrendous. I seriously bet that a hoarder’s house had cleaner floors than this place.
The food was terrible. The bbq sauce tasted like it came from a can and the baked beans (if that’s what you want to call them) were black…just like the floors.
Did I mention that we waited almost an HOUR for our shitty food?! Beware! Do not go here!

I left unhappy. First off they don’t have a lot to choose from at all. We got porky fries which I will say were the only good thing. I tried to get the pork rib sandwich but they were out so we both got the beef brisket sandwich which was a big disappointment. They were both 95% fat. It was gross I need up putting the pork off the fries on my bun just to have some meat on my kosher roll. The baked beans tasted burnt. We paid over $25 for about 3 bites each. I don’t know if they were having an off day or what but I will never go back or refer anyone to go there

This is a gem in West Virginia. I’ve been here once before and had the pulled pork BBQ which is really good. You have your choice of a Vinegar-molasses based, mustard, or tomato based sauces for the pulled pork.
This time I had a half rack of ribs which were outstanding. Smoked just right, slathered in a great sauce and fall off the bone good. If you try to cut apart separate ribs the bone falls through the meat. You can definitely tell it’s been slow cooked to perfection.
I’m not a cole slaw connaisseur, but I really like their home made stuff! And the baked beans are something different/special because of their molasses based sauce.
This is truly my favorite hole in the wall type of joint in the area and will start eating here at least once a month!

If you are looking for small time barbeque with big flavor this place is it. It is next to 7/eleven on Davis Creek road in South Charleston. You can litteraly smell the amazing barbeque from 7 eleven. They will even make your meal while you are getting gas or have it ready if you call ahead and I do not have the number. This is one of those little places you see on tv that has amazing food without being a massive chain. This place is clean and you can watch them make the food if you like as well. Check it out.

The BBQ is not bad but a little dry. However, be warned. To wash it down with a glass of water – an extra dollar per glass with no offer for a refill. A little extra sauce to help the dryness – another extra dollar per mini cup full. At least they didn’t charge for napkins. I hate being nickled and dimed. Note: due to inflation it’s now ‘dollared’.

Blues is amazing. I want to try everything on the menu but I’ve been getting the jerk sandwich and the rib platter for awhile (my two favs). Friendly staff and great food. I recommend it to everybody I know.

If you haven’t been here, then you must be new to the area. Blue’s has been a local foundation since I was a kid. The barbeque is out of this world. If you like meat, welcome to your new found church.
