Exceptional. This is what good BBQ is. You don’t have to go anywhere else. The flavors were just right, the smoke just enough, the sides stood out, and the whole shebang just worked so well together. I haven’t tried everything, but I’m working on it, and gladly too. So grateful to have a high quality and consistently well made BBQ place here in Pembroke.

We stopped in for lunch for the first time and it was absolutely amazing! We started with the hushpuppies. We got the catfish entree which came with two sides. We chose the macaroni and cheese and baked beans. We also got the brisket cheesesteak with macaroni and cheese. All homemade and delicious. Heather was our server and she was so sweet and explained everything thoroughly. We will definitely be back! It was seriously one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to.

Stopped for a late lunch here after hiking the cascades and it hit the spot! While it was all really good, the hush puppies were particularly delicious! Prices were also very reasonable and our server was great.

This is my first time here as I was passing through on thanksgiving weekend. When I was looking up restaurants near by to eat “Bluegrass BBQ” was top on my suggestions. I’m truly glad I got the opportunity to eat here! This place is phenomenal everything was up to par! For an appetizer we ordered the fried pickles and for being a smaller size the golden brown sauce was delicious. I ordered the combination B on the menu and I received the catfish which was extra crispy and the ribs. The ribs were just right and I mixed 2 of their sauces when I ate my ribs. With that combination I got 3 sides and I got the mac & cheese, sweet potato casserole, and the pepper slaw. The pepper slaw I didn’t not care for. However, the sweet potato casserole was great. The Mac and cheese was great nothing out of this world, but good. I did take a bite of my family members fried pork chop and man I wish I ordered that! Also, my family member ordered the smoked chicken and he loved it. I would definitely come back here if I was ever in the area.

If you’re anywhere near Pembroke and love good BBQ, Bluegrass BBQ is a must-visit. The brisket here is easily some of the best in the area—perfectly smoked, tender, and full of flavor with just the right bark. You can tell they take pride in their craft. The sides were great too, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to come back and try everything on the menu. Highly recommend!

Good food, atmosphere and prices. Both meals we got are pictured. Only complaint was the brisket, which was dry for that cut and price(compared to the rest of the meats). The staff was extremely friendly and our waitress was great.

We usually look for places where the locals like to eat. This bbq restaurant did not disappoint! We were warmly greeted and the food was amazing! Our daughter really enjoyed the catfish kids meal and our boys shared a cheeseburger. We really enjoyed the pulled pork nachos and collard greens. We had a great time talking to the chef and waitresses on our way out. Great people and great food!!!

Must try!! Been here three times, their Iron flat steak, ribs, and brisket never fails. Very affordable with an amazing taste. I will definitely always go here for bbq. And don’t forget to save some space for their banana pudding .
