Came in for my cousins birthday.
We had amazing appetizers. The sake was hot and the food was delicious! The service was incredible and they were so amazing with my daughter. She’s a wild child for sure but was tame last night haha. The service was incredible. The food delicious and my 5 year old loved the uni. Their supreme rolls are delicious and can feed two to three people depending on them. Pictured is the Sakura roll. A riceless roll with LOTS of fish and fish eggs! Definitely a new favorite!

Food was subpar and salty. Rolls were either mini or gigantic in an awkward not good way. Every roll was falling apart before you even got it to your mouth. I will leave price for quantity out of it since we all know the price of things currently. Unfortunately this will be out only visit to this restaurant. I was extremely disappointed with this $200 dinner

I recently moved here from Vegas, and I was honestly worried I’d have to sacrifice my sushi cravings. I thought there was no way I could find sushi that compared to the high quality and fresh fish I was used to in Vegas (yes, even in the desert!). But Bluefin Sushi proved me wrong.
We tried the Orange Daisy roll, tempura udon, and the nigiri special combination. If you love salmon skin like I do, the Orange Daisy roll is a must-try—I’ve never seen a roll topped with such a generous amount of crispy salmon skin! The nigiri special combination is also an absolute standout. The chef’s unique toppings on each piece really brought out the fresh, vibrant flavors of the fish.
It was a bit chilly when we went, so we decided to share a soup, and I’m so glad we did—it was the perfect addition. The service was friendly, and the food? Simply the best sushi I’ve ever tasted. If you’re a sushi lover, you’ve got to check out Bluefin Sushi!

Been here at least 3 times in the last month and a half, and I feel bad gatekeeping. Everything they make here tastes good. The deluxe platters are well worth the money and can feed 3 easily. All the meat I’ve had here is tender and flavorful and the sushi is fresh and tasty. The curry was different in that the veggies are cut very small and it was almost too spicy but still really good (it tasted even better the next day)
Staff are attentive and kind and know the menu well. Great place to have a family dinner, a friend meetup, or a regular date night spot.

When they first opened service was great. Now the last 3 times we waited 20 mins for water and an hour for one roll. Then even ran out of plates. We never received some of our food and they tried to charge it for us. I really love their food though.

Got to hand it to them, service was solid. Experience was very pleasant. Was in and out with a bento bowl and 2 rolls in 15 minutes. Place was about 60% full too. Food was solid. The lion king was good. Warriors roll was crunchy.

Bluefin Sushi in Oakley is always a treat. The sushi is fresh, flavorful, and beautifully made. The 49ers Roll and the Heaven Roll are two of our favorites, both packed with flavor and always satisfying. For starters, the Mushroom Bomb is a must order appetizer, rich and delicious every time.
