Once we finally figured out when it was open (Thursday-Sunday is the correct answer as of May, 2023), we were delighted to try this place due to its quirky location right along the C&O canal. We were not disappointed. My wife and I split 3 California rolls, and 2 Boston rolls; the overall quality was excellent. We ordered online right when they opened (at 1 pm on a Thursday), and the food was ready about 20 minutes later. Upon pickup, the staff were very friendly. A bit pricey; the above described was $44 with tax and tip. Due to the quality, we would definitely return.

one of our favorite meals in our 3 days in georgetown! definitely a “hole in the wall” vibe and limited service, but we really enjoyed the portion + freshness of the fish. worth a visit!

Gas station level sushi for a gourmet restaurant price, staff wouldn’t even take the time to bring the food up. Buzzed me on a pager to pick up my 30$ cafeteria tray of sushi. Very insulting, do yourself a favor and don’t waste your money here

Simple and basic sushi place in Georgetown. You order downstairs and get all of your sushi in one serving plate. You should not expect any “service” dinning there, it’s more like a “fast food sushi” experience. It is a little cute restaurant by the canal.

Don’t miss out on this place! This is a small little hidden gem of Georgetown. Not fancy, so don’t set your expectations up there, but the sushi is spectacular and priced right! The mango roll is delicious. Everything is so fresh and quick to serve…give it a go if you are visiting dc or in the area!

I was really excited to try this place. I was reading the reviews, and I was like— I must try. I really wanted to try the cucumber special roll. I uploaded a picture here. It was really good. The staff was friendly and nice and the vibe of the restaurant is cute. It is a little hard to find, but maps does help decently.

This is the best quality sushi in the area. You can find plenty of sushi places in DC but nowhere has the quality of Bluefin. Their salmon options are amazing, the orange roll is my favorite, but their sashimi set is exquisite.

What a cute, quaint and delicious place! I love the location and atmosphere of this restaurant. Their dining area upstairs is a wonderful, airy spot with a view of the canal. My mom and I loved our selection of sushi, inari and edamame. Don’t miss this sweet spot on the canal!

I’ve been meaning to try this establishment for a while now. It’s a nice small Sushi house in front of the canal in Georgetown. Unfortunately that’s all this place is, a nice authentic location in Georgetown. The menu was pricey and the food was ok. The food is not bad but definitely pricey. Also they served my food on a to go plastic bowl!? It kinda ruined the mood and vibe of the place. Everyone around me was eating on regular plate and bowl and here’s my food on a plastic bowl. When I was ordering I ask the lady what the Sushi chef was making because it looks very good and the presentation was nice. She said it was a Chirashi Bowl. So I told her I would like the same. I asked the lady why mine came on a plastic bowl she said because of COVID? I looked around and not a single person was eating on a plastic bowl. She started to make things up and at the end she realized that I wasn’t buying her story. I would not recommend this place and I wont go back again. I took my wife to this place and felt bad that we had this experience.
