I’m not sure it would be worth eating here if you weren’t already staying at the hotel. The small menu had a good amount of variety, but the descriptions provided were a lot more promising than what was actually delivered. I ordered the papardelle bolognese (which I believe was one of, if not the most expensive items on the menu) and was thoroughly unimpressed. It was a vegan dish that lacked flavor and the pasta, which I’m assuming was homemade, tasted over cooked and was difficult to chew. I ended up eating not even half and didn’t bother bringing the rest back to my room with me. Someone else in my party ordered the prosciutto and fig flatbread, which was yummy but absolutely should not have been called a flatbread. The dough was so thick that at some points we had to cut the pizza with a fork and knife because we couldn’t bite through it. The calamari appetizer and fish and chip entree were both decent. Our waitress though, I believe her name was Kim, was phenomenal, very kind and attentive.

The host was polite, courteous, and enjoyable. Our waiter Jon provided exceptional service and excellent recommendations. The food was stunning. The chef special fish was out of this world good, cooked perfectly. Will visit again next time I’m in Rhode Island.

Nice place for a holiday lunch. It was quiet with plenty of room. So conversation, even at a big table, was easy with everyone. The food was good and prices ok. I preferred the decor (which is seen in the Google photo here) before the renovation that they did a couple of years ago. Now it felt a bit less warm and cozy. The table service was fine but I had called a week earlier to make a reservation (for 8 people) but apparently that never made it to the Grille. I think I ended up talking to the front desk when I made the reservation. So, our table was not ready when we got there. Since it was not busy, they were able to get us setup fine. But we had to wait and I’m not sure that our server and the kitchen staff were ready for a big group. The wait for food was a bit long. It was a great location for my work team to come in from their remote work locations. Centrally located and easy parking.

The host at the front ignored my family until an older gentleman walked up to the podium and all but bopped them upside the head. We sat at a table for 25 minutes before we were helped, then another 25 waiting for water. Mind you, only 50% of the tables were taken. The food was ridiculously terrible. Burnt hotdogs and grilled cheese with no cheese. My tuna was inedible.. if you can avoid it.. go somewhere else…this place is terrible.

Excellent food and service. What really impressed me was that they have several gluten free options, and they also accommodated my dairy free as well. A lot of their food is also locally sourced so that makes me more likely to return. Overall, delicious food and great experience.
