The manager was also very attentive and helped create a warm, comfortable atmosphere throughout our visit. It was a small but meaningful touch that really added to the experience.
From the cozy ambiance to the well-paired dishes and wine, everything was truly impressive. I highly recommend Bluebird and look forward to coming back again.
Bluebird continues to impress with its elegant atmosphere, warm service, and thoughtfully prepared French classics. The dining room is bright, stylish, and welcoming—perfect for a relaxed lunch, date night, or catching up with friends.
We ordered a variety of dishes, and everything was memorable:
• Pâté de Canard – rich, smooth, and perfectly seasoned.
• Fresh Oysters (Huîtres Crues) – clean, briny, and very fresh.
• Steak Frites – tender steak with crispy frites, exactly what you hope for in a French brasserie.
• Confit de Canard – beautifully crisp skin and flavorful meat.
• Coquilles à la Jean-Georges – luxurious and deeply satisfying.
• Desserts – both the Torte au Chocolat and the Financier aux Amandes et Mousse de Cassis were outstanding; refined flavors without being overly sweet.
• Coffee – surprisingly good and a great way to finish the meal.
The flavors were clean and balanced, portions generous, and presentation refined. Pricing is fair for the quality and craft that go into every dish.
Highly recommended if you love authentic French cuisine or simply want an elevated dining experience in a charming setting. I will definitely be back!
The food is excellent, well balanced flavors, no need for salt and pepper which is a first for us. For brunch, we had the french onion soup, frites, quiche Lorraine, and the Croquet Madame. We honestly could not decide what was best. The garlic aeoli is a must with the frites [fries] – top 3 fries we have ever had.
Perfect place for a date night / day, especially seating in the parlor. We will be back!
The food exquisite!
Then there was the food….. It is not an easy task to describe the pleasure and satisfaction that every bite of every dish brought to us. Expertly paired with the incredible wine, the meal was beyond fantastic! From appetizer, to main course to desert, every dish was outstanding! Now, you are going to spend some money on your dining experience here, but it is worth every penny without a single thought or regret.
This is an establishment where we hope to become regulars, even if its just for an evening of a glass from their superb wine collection and an appetizer. Though we already plan to make this our spot for all celebrations!
Do yourself a favor, make a reservation and experience a meal here… You deserve it!

Let’s start with the best of the best here – the service. I can’t remember having a server (I wish I could remember her name – Erica maybe?) with such a combination of professionalism and personality. She seemed on top of everything and was very friendly to boot. The service team worked well together, getting the mains for our group to the table over a period of a minute or two. Well done!
I had the scallops which were delicious – sweet and well cooked. The roasted cauliflower and onions were good as well. The plate was on the monochromatic side, but that is really nit picking. Forget that I said it…
My wife was pleased with her Osso Bucco and red cabbage.
We each had a glass of the Mâcon-Villages. It was rich and flavorful – my kind of French Chard.
My wife had a yellow cake with blackcurrants and some sort of cassis cream on the side for dessert. She said it was wonderful.
Bluebird describes their restaurant as a “French bistro.” I would categorize it as more of a high end French restaurant that serves some classic bistro dishes. I loved everything about the meal and service. Unfortunately, that quality requires a price tag higher than I associate with a “bistro.” So if it means saving my pennies to return for another meal, I will. Just not as often as I would like to.
