Bluf: good pretzels , excellent beer cheese sauce and honey mustard (they should bottle it).

Stopped in for a late lunch, pretzel sticks were excellent. Staff said they make them in-house, and I believe it.

Gotta rate this as 4 stars instead of 5, staff refused to cut kid’s hamburger in half. They provided the world’s smallest plastic fork instead. Very odd.

Had an excellent meal at the food truck while we were at the brewery. Located right in their parking lot for the summer. Food came out in ten minutes. And they changed the bread type for me when I asked. I do wish they had fries or another appetizer to go with the sandwiches. But well worth the price.

Both the Nashville chicken sandwich and the rally burger are absolutely incredible. Whether your fishing the upper Kenai or headed further it’s definitely a must stop. Incredible food and a nice brewery for a beverage!

Went tonight after reading current reviews, and wanted to add a positive experience. I’m not sure what prices people expect to pay in rural Alaska, during the height of tourist and fishing season, but it really wasn’t that bad. We got a burger, fries, pretzels, and two grilled cheese sandwiches and paid $50. This is on par for what we’d pay for a good quality food truck anywhere else in Alaska. There were enough fries for everybody to share, and they were well cooked, hot and crispy. The grilled cheese sandwiches were basic, but were from the kids’ menu, nbd. I do think it’d be nice if they’d throw a small portion of fries or another basic side like applesauce or chips for the kids’ meals. The burger was a good size – I’m not sure why there are complaints about this? – and the toppings were fresh. The pretzels were my favorite, and the beer cheese was great too. All in all, I’d recommend it and stop in again!

Subpar food and overpriced. Paid $17 each for a burger and a sandwich. The burger and sandwich were both smaller then the size of our palm, and neither include a side. We also waited about 30 minutes for our food.

Great location, probably the only reason they can charge as much as they do.

EDIT: Dave, in response to your reply, yes it was a smaller burger. I really don’t understand why you charge $17 for a normal burger. I live in Alaska, so yes, I’m used to the Alaskan prices and also used to the Alaskan quality. At other establishments, a $17 burger gets me fries and a juicy patty. Clearly, you have a difficult time taking criticism from your customers based on your responses to their reviews. I wish you and your establishment the best of luck.

Best burger in Alaska, hands down! I especially love the no-nonsense hospitality! The brewery where this is located seems to really attract an uppity, younger, demanding crowd and it’s refreshing to see that there’s no bum kissing or coddling here. It’s hard to believe folks are complaining about the prices. Has anyone gone grocery shopping lately? With all the Patagonia strutting around this place I can’t imagine anyone here is hurting for money. Anyway, besides the burger, the pretzels and beer cheese and asian style chicken salad are delicious, too. This is a must stop for good food in Cooper Landing. I’ll be back!

The Mongolian Chicken salad is my favorite but the rally burger and Italian sandwich come in close second. The crew works so hard to get things out to you in time. The brewery is also a great atmosphere to enjoy this delicious food, but they also get it for me to go when I’m in a hurry to get home.

The food here is ridiculously overpriced. 17 dollars for a burger, which isn’t even a special burger. They also stopped taking orders right at 7:45, which is weird because we visited during the summer when the sun doesn’t even set until past midnight. We only barely made it, and then it took them an hour just to make our order. The seating area and brewery are nice though.

Dave,

I’m not sure why you decide to go after people that left reviews 3 years ago. Clearly your overpriced food is leading to a lack of sales. The comments I see you making to your previous customers says a lot about your customer service.

I spent 15 minutes driving around looking for your restaurant while on the way to work because it said you opened early for breakfast. Let me give you some advice if you’re going to have a Google listing the information should be correct.

Also I find it comical that people call Cooper Landing rural Alaska. Your $17 dollar burgers sound sub par.

Cheers

Best burger in Alaska and the fry sauce is killer. This is where the wife and I go to let someone else to the cooking and enjoy ourselves in this awesome town. Thanks team Blue Yeti!
