After lots of walking and sun at the Folklife Festival, we were looking forward to a sit-down meal indoors and thought the Blue Water Taco Grill inside the Armory sounded good. There’s no table service, you place your order, then pick up the food in the opposite corner of the restaurant, along with self-serve utensils and napkins. We got nachos to share and two-orange margaritas.

Pick this restaurant at random since I was hungry and there so many places to choose from. The prices were good and the food came out fast. I like all the drink options and the fact you can serve yourself. The nachos were very good and they give you a good serving.

Not great not terrible. They have a simple selection of meal, but it tastes good and food is prepared quickly. I had a bowl, I got 3 sauces, it tasted good, but it was not enough. I was still hungry. In terms of price, it is cheap by local standards.

Great little taco joint. Was hoping to try more but the hockey game didn’t allow more than their game day menu. Worth the try if you’re passing through. Quick and easy ordering.

My food at was great! I got the fish tacos and a side of chips and salsa to share. I was satisfied with my meal and it was tasty. The prices are on par with the rest of the food court and service was quick. My only complaints are that the chips & salsa side didn’t come with many chips and the rice was bland. In general, I would recommend!

Located within the armory, Blue Water Taco Grill is probably one of the better places to grab a bite. I ordered the shrimp taco plate. The eating experience can only be described as “messy,” the utensils were small and the rice was dry, whereas the beans were really wet. The tacos also were messy, but they tasted good. The price was high considering the amount of food that actually was on the plate. Usually I’d get at least 3 tacos for this price. That said, it was probably some of the better food around the Seattle Center, and the price probably reflects the location.

Fish tacos were so over cooked I thought it was chicken. Nobody told us food would be served in a different location, so it sat out for about 10 minutes and was cold when we got it. This place has a nice atmosphere though.

I got food maybe 30 minutes before close and they must’ve really scraped the bottom of the barrel for me because this was the driest crustiest and somehow also soggiest burrito bowl I’ve ever had. Really bad. Almost broke a tooth biting on hard rice. The vegan chorizo was also hard. 🙁

Very bland, tastless and overpriced it was 35 dollars for two buritto bowels and two soft drinks. We ask for an extra scoop of rice. They charge 4.50 extra for that. We paid for it. Will never come back.

The cashier seemed to be more focused on looking “cool” than providing friendly service. I got to give him props for the long hair, long beard, black hoody and worn out jeans.Gave me the authentic Seattle early 90s experience. Other than that the guy made no eye contact.
