I subtracted only 1 star for atmosphere only because some feral birds walk around under the table trying to get food, but as an attempt to mitigate their presence they had signs out asking customers to not feed the birds and had umbrellas up.
Service was great, felt easy going, friendly, and checked in on us.
This is a great spot if you are staying on the property and want solid seafood without leaving the “Village.”
Garlic Shrimp: We tried the garlic shrimp, and it was good—classic Hawaiian style.
Lobster Tail: We also tried the lobster tail, which was cooked well. Great food overall.
Logistics:
Convenience: It is located right in Hilton Village, which is super convenient. A big plus is that they take room charge (bill to room), so you don’t need to carry cash/cards if you are a guest.
Seating: There is a dine-in option (tables available), but we ordered to go to enjoy it in our room/lanai.
Verdict:
A reliable, tasty seafood stop right inside the resort. Perfect for a casual dinner when you don’t want to drive anywhere.
The garlic shrimp is a must, and the ʻŌpakapaka is solid. Just be warned — the birds are aggressive and will absolutely steal your food. We ended up ordering to go and eating in our hotel room, which was honestly the better move
We stumbled upon this place looking to get away from the more commercial, highly-overrated restaurants on the resort and we were so pleasantly surprised at this place! The food was amazing, well priced and the portions were huge-something you DO NOT get elsewhere on the resort. We ate here 3 days in a row!
We’d also noticed a lack of highly anticipated “aloha spirit” in most other places we went on the resort but not here! The staff were incredibly friendly, funny, and very appreciative of tourists! They also genuinely seemed to enjoy each other and had a lot of fun together! Great spot, you won’t be disappointed!
I also ordered pineapple, which was very juicy and sweet. Loved it!!!!
Most Famous platter:
1. Garlic shrimp
5/5 rating!
