Awesome food, some of the best fish you will find anywhere. As fresh as it gets and you get about an 8oz piece of fish not the 2 to 4 oz you get at most good seafood places. Good service too. One of the best places to eat in SD if you don’t mind a little wait

Amazing lunch today. The halibut was cooked perfectly, and while not a cheap dish, considering how expensive this fish is elsewhere I felt like it was a great value. It was also a big portion. Drinks were also tasty. My friend got the shrimp tacos and said they were top notch as well. Service at the bar was excellent (Thanks Rose). Overall I was extremely happy, and considering how overrated, overpriced, and underwhelming the San Diego seafood market tends to be, this is one of my new favorite oceanfront restaurants in the city. Highly recommend.

I came to this restaurant ‘bout time when it was to opened ‘cause this restaurant was so crowded and a lot of dishes weren’t available later in the afternoon. Their seafood was so good and fresh. Service was ok and they served the food pretty quick! Love it here tbh.

2023 Update: Still delicious. They simplified their menu somewhat which did effect me. I was accustomed to ordering blackened fish tacos and a cup of clam chowder. The fish taco a la cart seasoning options appear to now be just chipotle and garlic butter. Also, the soups are listed as a bowl only on the updated menu (pictures attached). Still love the food.

This is some of the best seafood I’ve every had. Calamari (not pictured) was perfectly fried and the tartar sauce was amazing as well. Scallops were cooked perfectly. Mahi mahi fish tacos were and the Buffalo Cod sandwich… Ahhhhmazing. Sat in the outdoor area and watched the insane rain storm SD was experiencing. Outdoor heaters were nice considering the cooler than normal temps. Went on Taco Tuesday so got a great deal on the taco’s.

One of the best sea food (by the ocean) restaurant I’ve ever tried, we have ordered fresh Mahi Mahi, one with rice and the the other as a taco sandwich, I couldn’t resist the taco’s taste, then I ordered another taco with fresh jumbo shrimp and the taste was to die for, one word would describe this gem: INCREDIBLE !!!

Being from out of town this was just a place we randomly found online. I was a little off put when we arrived because I felt like we were in the middle of a neighborhood and it seemed very quiet for a Friday night but once inside it was a completely different atmosphere.

So good we went back 3 times! Everything was extremely fresh and well prepared! Lots of gluten free options too, just ask.

Still one of the best fish tacos in the world even if they dumbed down their menu. Great ambience at this particular one because you can scarf down your food while looking out over Ocean Beach. I’ll always miss the variation of marinades and won’t ever understand why I can’t have a swordfish or jumbo scallop now, but… still worth a stop regardless. Also, where did the catch of the day options go?!
