The food is great and it’s definitely home made to order, not frozen stuff from the big suppliers. We ordered the cream of mushroom soup, very creamy and had the nice texture of chopped mushroom. We tried the crab dip and it came with a roll of bread. The dip had pieces of crab meat and quite cheesy as well. We also ordered the fried oysters entree. The very large oysters had a nice crunchy batter that were cooked perfectly. The side of Mac and cheese was baked with extra cheese on top, very nice touch. The sweet potatoes masher had a light touch of bourbon and it’s perfect for the meal.
The decor fits the style of the restaurant that caters to locals and casual dinning but with excellent food. The wait staff was friendly and efficient. The only negative was that we were not informed about the happy hour has a different cutoff time for those who sit in the booths or tables than those at the bar and high tables.
2/2020: We came back and tried out the Happy Hour special. The mussels with garlic and wine sauce were great. We ordered the nachos with chicken and we were delighted that the nachos were freshly made, crunchy and loaded with everything served in a huge platter. The service was great and our server/bartender was very pleasant.

My husband and I were looking for restaurant with flounder and this place didn’t disappoint. The hostess was very nice and informed us of a five minute wait upon arrival at about 7:30 PM on a Saturday evening. They told us about their daily specials, which sounded delicious but we opted for normal menu items. My husband ordered the fried flounder which came with two sides (broccoli which was perfectly steamed and mashed potatoes). I ordered the french onion soup and the grits with blackened shrimp. We didn’t leave anything on the plates, everything was delicious and flavors equally balanced on the plate!!! The wait staff (Colton) was kind, courteous and attentive, refilled the water glass before it was empty without needing to be prompted. The restaurant was very clean and could tell the staff knew what they were doing and enjoyed working at this establishment. The seating arrangements were comfortable with pillows offered in the booths, especially nice for an 8 month pregnant woman.

We were heading home from seeing family in Baltimore and we remembered we received a gift card for Blue water grill. When we called they recommended folks should make reservations but they would do their best to get us in, we arrived and they seated us right away we even asked for a booth and they accommodated us. I guess the point is they bent over backwards to take care of us.
My wife ordered the prime rib special with lobster ravioli which she could not stop raving about. I ordered the plank salmon with lemon caper sauce and risotto, it was fantastic. Both were on the specials list so we can’t really speak for the main menu but it has to be just as good. Almost forgot our grandson ordered the grill cheese and fries from the kids menu which he also liked. One side note, it was nice to see a variety of options for kids other than just hot dogs and dry chicken fingers.
All in all a super nice “last minute meal” Bret our server was very attentive but not overly invasive.
Jessica the host answered our 10 questions with a smile and made sure we were comfortably seated.

Small selection of craft draft beer but quite delicious cocktails! Foood was fairly priced, dishes ranging from 15- high 20’s very pleased with my meal and portions!

Was a bit concerned after a few reviews, decided to try anyway.. VERY HAPPY we did!!! Went for an early dinner, 5 peeps total.. Had apps, crab dip and jalapeno poppers both very good.. The poppers are new on the menu and they checked to see how they were, very pleased… 5 entrees,, Flat bread pulled pork pizza (very good), Chicken Marsala( very good), Spinach salad topped with salmon (very good), Ultimate chicken sandwich (HUGE and very good) and Fried Oysters which were awesome!! Sweet potato fries were delicious perfectly done!! The service was excellent and attentive!! I found the place pretty clean in all.. Bathrooms were clean.. It’s in an old building so expect that.. Nice decor.. Just go try it and see for yourself!!!

My family and I stumbled upon this restaurant during our trip home from visiting family. The service was wonderful and the food was fresh and delicious. The atmosphere was warm and inviting with really neat decor. Even the staff was entertaining our 1 1/2 year old while we waited for our food to keep the peace. We will definitely add Blue Water Grill as a pit-stop along our travels in the future!

I took my wife here for her birthday and our daughter, and the whole experience was one of the best dining experiences we’ve ever had. Cheyanne, our waitress was very attentive and pleasant. The atmosphere was relaxed, rustic and upscale, all at the same time which was very pleasant. Finally, the food was some of the best food we have ever had out. I got the special, the blackened mahi with mango. Cooked to perfection with fresh, vibrant flavors. The pricing was also extremely reasonable. Cannot wait to come back again!
