We had a surprise party for my husband’s birthday with a large group. I called several times with questions and concerns and every time they were friendly and very helpful! Our server that night was attentive and patient and had a great attitude! They even handled our cake well and lit it and cut it for us! Definitely would recommend!

First experience here. Best sushi I have had in Illinois to date. The quality of fish, the menu selections, the atmosphere are all superb. The restrooms were spotless. Our waitress was so kid and courteous. I will definitely be back.

First time to Blue Sushi Sake Grill. The atmosphere and service was very good. The food was not very good, sad to say. If you like small rolls with little flavor then this is the place for you. The Mango Crab Rangoon was very skimpy on the filling. The most disappointing thing was the Sushi Rolls. The entire table of 9 people also agreed the the Rolls are just OK. They are very small and many of them lack flavor to where they taste very similar. The presentation was better than the taste. We probably will not be returning anytime soon especially the cost of the food for what you get.

Went on a solo lunch date and this was the perfect place to enjoy a nice meal. I did get a little attitude from the girl at the front when I requested a table for 1. She wanted to sit me at the bar and I sensed her hostility at my request. It wasn’t busy and there was no wait yet she said it would take another 15 min to clean up the tables.
The food was delicious and fresh, although it did take a while to come. My server was very kind but struggled having to handle so many tables at the same time. Lovely restaurant and delicious food, however I feel it would be best for pickup, unfortunately.

Blue Sushi Sake Grill in Naperville is a fantastic spot for sushi lovers, especially if you’re looking for flavorful vegetarian options. The menu is creative, and many dishes can be easily tweaked to make them Jain-friendly, which is a huge plus!

We ordered the Cowgirl, Thai Hippie, Veggie, and VLT rolls—each one was delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. We also had the Cucumber Sunomono and Charred Edamame to start, both of which were packed with flavor and a great way to kick off the meal.

Drinks were another highlight—my Cucumber Jalapeño cocktail was refreshing with just the right hint of spice. The kids enjoyed the Passion Fruit Lemonade and Hibiscus drink (non-alcoholic), both fun and flavorful without being overly sweet.

The vibe is modern and lively, with a welcoming staff and great service. Whether you’re dining with family or friends, Blue is a great place to enjoy good food, great drinks, and a fun atmosphere.

Definitely coming back!

We’ve been to Blue Sushi Sake Grill in Naperville many times and it’s always a great experience. The atmosphere is upscale, modern, and well themed. It honestly feels like walking into a trendy downtown Chicago restaurant right on Water Street.
The sushi is high end and consistently fresh, and everything we’ve ordered has been excellent. Service is always friendly and attentive, and the manager is especially personable. Perfect spot for a family dinner, happy hour, or date night. Highly recommend.

As a vegan, I’m always on the lookout for places that offer more than just one or two basic options—and Blue Sushi in Naperville absolutely delivers! Their vegan sushi menu is incredible, creative, and full of flavor. I especially love their cowgirl roll—beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is trendy but relaxed, and the service is always friendly and helpful. Whether you’re plant-based or just looking to try something new, this spot is a must-visit. I always leave full and happy!

This was our first time to try sushi and we loved this place and options. Everything was really nice and tasty. Definitely recommend the crab rangoons with the amazing mango sauce and mushroom sushi!! Drinks were average though. Will visit and try more options next time. They have happy hour all day sunday so it was pocket friendly too

Sat outside with a great view of the river. I’m allergic to seafood, so I stuck with chicken and vegan options which were both decent, though obviously sushi would be the star here. Service wise, they were careful about my allergy, which I appreciated.

Downsides: plates piled up like they were part of the décor, and I had to ask multiple times for them to be cleared. Also, as someone who drinks water like it’s a competitive sport, the lack of refills was rough.

Overall, still a great family dinner spot. I’d recommend it — just maybe bring your own water jug lol
