Wonderful place for a fresh bite to eat! Lovely service and great food. We were some of the only people at the restaurant around 6pm on a Sunday so the service was very quick and very fresh.
We got a side salad, a beef sambusa, a chicken sambusa, the steak platter, and a mixed berry smoothie. Everything had wonderful flavor and the smoothie was one of the best i’ve had! It was a decent price all coming out to about $27 total. The green sauce has a kick to it but is really good mixed in with things!

5 stars. Fast terrific home cooked meal. Everything is cooked to perfection, flavor is incredible. Kids loved it. We got the three meat big plate with rice, chicken sambusas, tea, watermelon drinks and mango drink 10/10. Will be back! If you like Oakland gyro or pita Palace you’ll love this!

The goat platter is tender and flavorful and the sambusas are crispy and delicious. It was such great comfort food that we ordered extra as takeout even though we dined in. Very reasonably priced. Friendly service – will be back!

This place is delightful! I got the salmon plate, vegetarian sambusa, and chai. All were delicious and the vibes inside are great. It was my first time trying East African food and will definitely be back for more.

One of my favorite restaurants in Milwaukee. This little has a small menu, but great fare. The Chicken Suqaar sandwich is the . I have it almost everytime I visit. It’s a fit long and is very filling. Their Sambusas, all three are very delicious with a nice spice to them. The Somalian Steak over Basmati Rice is also delicious. Quenching juice. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. The place is smaller but tends to fill with patrons while I’m there. Very affordable and you’ll walk away stuffed. Highly recommended!

Hands down one of the best East African spots in Milwaukee! The food is flavorful, fresh, and feels like home. I had the Tilapia Dinner and it was chef’s kiss — perfectly seasoned, and the portions are generous too. Love that they serve vegan options as well. The place is clean, welcoming, and the staff is super kind and attentive. Definitely a gem on Farwell Ave. I’ll be back again and again!

My first time going in and the owner recommended the lamb with rice and chicken sandwich, and everything was amazing! Rice with red bell peppers was spectacular!
Really good food, simple, and very affordable for weekly take out options!

I forgot to take pictures because we were so hungry , I had been told about this restaurant by some family but wasn’t sure what to expect. We ordered a veggie samboosa and a beef samboosa. Both were delicious. Then I ordered the chicken sandwich and it was so good. Very flavorful and good prices. Nice workers who took our orders and are willing to give recommendations if you aren’t sure of what to order.
