Blue Spruce Saloon is the type of local watering hole that you love to see. It’s intended for neighbors – but out of towners can still show up and have a nice time. Fried chicken was good, Rainier beers cold, and prices low.

Great authentic American style restaurant with saloon vibe. Locals at the bar and lots of space with tables for eating. Fast and friendly service. The Mount Raineer burger and wrap were a great pick! Recommended for families with young kids.

We arrived at the restaurant around 5 PM on a Friday evening. At first, the atmosphere was relatively quiet and comfortable, but as expected, it got noticeably louder after 6 PM as more people started arriving. It was clear that the restaurant was quite popular, given how quickly it filled up. I ordered a cocktail called Red Silk Panties, and unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment. It tasted almost exactly like cough syrup, and I regretted ordering it, I only managed to take about three sips before I gave up. Honestly, I would’ve been happier with just a Coke. On the bright side, the chicken wrap I ordered was absolutely delicious. I really enjoyed it, and the portion size was quite generous. I could only finish half of it, and the other half made a perfect breakfast the next day. Even after reheating it in the microwave, it still tasted great. We also shared the buffalo chicken nachos, which were topped with a surprisingly generous amount of olives, something my family really appreciated. The portion was large and satisfying. In total, the three of us spent around $120 and left feeling very full and content

Very happy with this place! It was very busy on Labor Day flea market weekend and our waitress Saturday evening 8/30 was outstanding, 40% tip outstanding. Very good prime rib dip special. The size of shots and price is criminal is my only complaint.

The Spruce Saloon & Diner is one of the best stops we experienced on our Oregon-Washington trip.

You wouldn’t think you would get good food and good service at a place with saloon in his name, but Blue Spruce Saloon Diner delivered on all.

Our server was welcoming. She brought our drinks quickly and kept them full the whole time.

They had a great fish tacos special, and everything else was pleasing to the the ducerse palates in our group.

This was the only meal that we were compelled to take a picture of everyone’s food. I don’t know if I had Mt. St. Helen on the brain, but the taco salad sure looked like a caldera of ground beef oozing, plentifully out the side to its plateau on the plate.

Within 30 minutes, the place filled up around 5 o’clock. We would definitely be back.

The food is always a m amazing. The clam chowder is the best I’ve ever eaten. The burgers are also top notch. The staff us super friendly but it can get very busy at times. Overall I’ve always had a very good time there.

We came for breakfast. I had biscuits and gravy with eggs. I had asked for my eggs to be on the side but they were served on top of my gravy. Oh well. Anyway, definitely a place for the locals on Sunday. People knew each other but we felt welcome enough. Played some pull tabs. They food was decent. Good coffee. We weren’t sure if they were open because Google said they don’t open until 11am, but they actually start serving breakfast at 8am and stop serving breakfast at noon.

The server was fantastic. She was prompt with taking the order, and ensured we had everything we needed. The burger was good. The fish was greasy. The fries were crinkle fries, and were just ok. The salad was great.
